garycOct 4, 2009Not as good as chapters 1 and 2. The dialogue in the middle really made me go crazy as I was thinking about how lame it was! Still worth playing. I hope next chapter the story gets better.

AmanGOct 11, 2009The Foundation was already set up for a deep and 'gut-wrenching' epic in the previous episode as we saw our beloved hero get eaten by a giant manatee...this one doesn't disappoints.

Oct 23, 2019"Lair of the Leviathan" starts up slow but then turns out to be an absolute blast to play, frenetic but never too fast, amazing humor and characters (both new and returning), great and original puzzles.
This chapter is what truly elevated the Tales series to the standard of the original games.

Telltale Games has done really well with this new chapter of the adventures of Guybrush. This third chapter is great, full of fun moments and intelligent puzzles. Even more, at last we see the comeback of one of the most charming characters of the series, Murray.
-
Those who have played the first two games in the franchise and want to keep going to see how it all ends will find Tales of Monkey Island: Lair of the Leviathan to be a minor diversion in an otherwise great series.
-
Lair of the Leviathan is extremely short and not quite up to par in terms of difficulty, but its a generally solid continuation to the episodic series.
