Exellent humor, perfect borderlands setting, different style from other taletale games, and so far it feels like the decisions actually matter, which is for the first time ever.

As a huge Telltale Games fan, liking all of their major games I have to say this by no means is this the weak link in the chain. Just as amazing as the first episode. I think it's easily the best Telltale series so far. It's hard to compare to the emotional appeal that GoT and Walking Dead have, but the humor makes up for the lack of seriousness in an awesome way. Plus, you do still feel attached to the characters. Also, the opening credit sequences are absolutely amazing compared to any other game.

Telltale is not doing a god work taking too long to release the episodes (TftB & GoT). Anyway this episode still good as the first one, just a little bit short.

The story is developing great and I am exited to see how it continues. The jokes are even better than in episode one. But waiting four months just to play for not even two hours is really disappointing.

I might be getting tired of the Telltale formula for sure, but this is definitely not as good as the original 3, with The Wolf Among Us as my favorite of the three). There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interaction and it just feels lifeless. There are a few good scenes and some nice dialogue, but the gameplay seems even more sparse than before. I understand it's a point-and-click adventure game, but the interaction is at a minimum. It feels like a graphic novel with a few small "choose your own way" points.

It is probably worth ten bucks for the five episodes, but that is the most I'll pay for Telltale games as that is their value to me personally.

I must say I'm really loving this series so far. Episode 1 was a refreshing, fun and hilarious take on the Borderlands franchise with a Telltale formula. Episode 2 was just as good, if not better. If you're looking for a story-driven experience with plenty of laughs and clever dialogue then check this out.

An excellent follow up to the first episode. The story is engaging, the humour is just as sharp as before and it's becoming clear that actions are actually having an impact on the story. I eagerly await the third episode.

I liked episode one a lot and even though i would say the jokes in episode two are better i have to say the whole episode (especially after waiting 4 months for it) felt extremely underwhelming. Plus no nice little cameo of any vault hunters in this episode. The whole episode felt pretty tedious to be honest however, the Handsome Jack moments were great and luckily he was able to help carry the episode. Overall i was relatively uninterested in this episode and i am not really that excited for the next. Wasn't even anything that shocked me or found a surprising twist in the story. TTG please try harder for episode 3. Expand

this episode was able to go much farther than the last episode as far as humor and wackiness goes because it already established the plot. I loved it. the only things wrong with this episode is there is a little bit of down time that sticks out like a sore thumb and the ending that I got was abrupt, but maybe if you made another decision it would be different. I liked this episode and am still on board with the series. the only reason I like the first episode better is because it really established the tone of the game and this episode didn't really do anything new which is fine but the first episode just stands out for that reason and I think that has been the case with all of telltales games so far (except first season walking dead the second episode was probably the best) Expand

With the price in mind of under £15 for the entire series on PSN I would start by recommending this game to anyone, I feel the series got off to a great start in Episode 1 where the story was very catchy, funny and full of great characters, this left me in no doubt after that I wanted to complete the entire series, and after playing through Episode 2 this remains true. Episode 2 was a little disappointing in some aspects, the variety and amount of player interaction seemed much more limited that the first episode and there only seemed to be about half as much content, still this was not a terrible thing simply because the first episode was so giving in relation to the price, but still I feel the series cut back a notch on this particular episode from what was a truly epic start, but still has my interest and am again looking forward to the next installment. It continues the story which started as an explosion of humor and action in the first episode. Negative: it is much shorter and feels more linear. Still good, but a shade of the beginning.

The music choice is excellent as always, and I appreciate the dedication to give us the best product they can.
Loving the character development and the classic Telltale style, with the Borderlands story I know and love.

  1. Atlas Mugged is finally here and Handsome Jack returns again this new episode. But Episode Two: Atlas Mugged's excitement level is little bit lower than Zer0 Sum.

Despite my issues with its tonal shifts, Altas Mugged is another solid episode with excellent acting, humorous dialog, and an ending that has me eagerly awaiting the next installment. Tales from the Borderlands is two for two so far.
