    Great conversion of a 80€ priced boardgame! For 15€ you get the full game in digital form for Mac & PC. The mechanics are understandable and logical. The floor tiles are much nicer (and even with 3d terrain) than the printed ones. If you never played the games like Ravenloft, Ashardalon, Legend of Drizzt or Temple of Elemental Evil, this is a good way to start, if you are missing 3 otherGreat conversion of a 80€ priced boardgame! The graphics are great. The UI is much better than Destiny 1&2s (couldn't resist to hate on them). The scenarios seem all to be doable at Normal and have you on the edge of dying all the time.     Absolutely shameful game.

    It's one of the shortest games I've played in the last 20 years, without exaggeration. It has terrible DLCs and one of them (the Druid) is all but required to play the game for more than an hour. The other DLCs are essentially just paid cheats. It's not just extremely repetitive, it literally uses the same tiles over and over again with no variation until    Absolutely shameful game.

    It's not just extremely repetitive, it literally uses the same tiles over and over again with no variation until near the end of the game. So the whole game just consists of jungle tiles and tomb tiles and that's it.

    The classes and abilities don't make any sense. The so-called "Wizard" doesn't get *any* damaging AoE, but the Ranger gets multiple high level spells? Wth? The Bard inspiration is an attack? There's no direct healing ability in the whole game, no lay on hands or heal. Nothing about this interpretation of D&D is remotely respectful of D&D on the whole.

    Relaxing gameplay and easy to pick up and play. Won't be revolutionizing the strategy genre but a fair representation of D&D for a novice to play about with.

    I looked forward to the tiles where enemies spawned in big groups rather than trickle in individually. Those moments made me feel the most challenged and rewarded. The game has a lot of fun in it for what is a decent tabletop game turned board game turned video game. All for a cheap price.

    If you are curious about what D&D is all about, or a veteran chasing a feeling of nostalgia, you should give Tales from Candlekeep a shot. It’s a well-polished rendition of classic D&D and is sure to provide hours of entertainment.
