Project Laika's low price point is just about low enough to justify a DLC package with such little impact on gameplay. If you're the sort to coo over digital animals then it's going to hit the spot, but it's not likely to justify it's cost to the rest.

The inside building is just poultry and the outside building has pigs, cattle etc. Unfortunately, these buildings are not affected by and of the tech and are not balanced at all. They are on par to superior to the farm building and don't add anything to the gameplay. All the animals need are oxygen and water. Biology would usually dictate that they consume a bunch of plant matter and would not be as efficient as plants.

The DlC also adds various purely cosmetic animals to the inside of the domes. Such as dogs and lamas. Don't recommend.
