    Superliminal is one of the best short games I've played. Everything, from the art style, to the mechanics, to the level design, to the liminal spaces and non-euclidean spaces are gorgeous. Hell, even the voice acting for Dr. Glenn Pierce is amazing.

    The reason why I can't give Superliminal a 9/10 is due to how little replayability and difficulty there is. Sure, the first levels might be    Superliminal is one of the best short games I've played.     The reason why I can't give Superliminal a 9/10 is due to how little replayability and difficulty there is. Sure, the first levels might be hard to get used to, but after the first 2-3 chapters you can breeze through levels. And after your first playthrough, you basically have nothing new to do except the Challenge mode which is the same levels but with limited grabs/jumps.

    I really think the game would benefit with UGC, similar to the Community Chambers in Portal 2. I can't expect the developers to upload new puzzles every week, but the community would surely do so. I'd also appreciate some lore/hints of how the clinic was created and stuff, and details about past patients (similar yet again to how Portal 2 does).

    Overall I think that Superliminal is still one of the best games you can play if you want a chill, relaxed game to finish in one sitting.    … Expand

    Mechanical innovation quickly turnt into mediocrity through recycled ideas and lack of creativity in the mid-final moments. Starts off pretty strong though.

    Отличная игра для того, чтобы посмотреть со стороны как люди реагируют на иллюзии и вещи, которые игра вытворяет в принципе. Достаточно короткая, так что попробовать стоит.

    Искаженная перспектива, новый взгляд на геймплей, вот что мне в ней понравилось.

    Game itself quickly reminded me of my beloved game portal, the way it reads from the player instead of player reading from the game is amazing, i loved the whole narration and the jokes players could experience around the playtrough, especially the ending. Meaningful and fun game that can be recommended to people that don't even play video games, as some sort of experiment.

    The music is pretty lovely. The gameplay could be kind of frustrating as it goes, yeah[-1]. In my case, however, I did manage to beat the game without help of other people's walkthrough and stuff.

    It has *some* sort of multiplayer but, meh[-1].

    Get it IF it's discounted.

    Gameplay variety and difference make it more special than other games. Superliminal was a nice experience for me. The messages and narration it gives can also affect your thoughts in real life. It was a fun and beautiful experience.

    A fun game for a few evenings together in coop. While most puzzles are pretty simple the mechanics are something new and had us interested. The Battle Royale mode was a nice addition but rooms started repeating after three runs.

    It's nice. If you like Portal and solving puzzle you can give it a try. Games like these are a good variety to AAA games

    The perspective puzzles are nice and creative but it also gets a bit gimmicky and the rest is a bit mediocre, it feels a bit cheap overall. It's an okay puzzle game.

    The puzzles are solid, but they all rely on a singular gimmick (resizing) that doesn't really get explored all that much for a game that is ostensibly about optical illusions and liminal spaces. Story-wise, there is a narrative that is conveyed in unique ways, but it doesn't really go anywhere, so don't go into this game expecting much.

    Superliminal has an incredibly good pacing. You start as someone who's dreaming in a form of therapy session. In your lucid dreams in real life, you can control anything, and so does our character in this controlled environment. Using perspective and seeing through optical illusions, we keep moving into the story, and as our character seem more "lost", the puzzles get weirder and theSuperliminal has an incredibly good pacing. The game does have puzzles, but most of them are either mind-numbingly easy or so obtuse you will be annoyed at the game when you figure out the solution rather than amazed. The last half of the game has so few puzzles and essentially you holding the W key for most of the time.     The game reminds of course about Portal. But the elements / focus on puzzles are different and well done in a very good way. The game is a bit short but for around 20 bucks its absolutely okay.
    I had problems in terms of game saving / no overview about saving data. I was in one room where the relevant items **** up and disappeared.     The game's narrative draws heavily from The Stanley Parable and Portal, but the design/mechanics are unique and fun. It was worth buying to me.

    A whole new approach to puzzle games. Superliminal encourages you to see everything from another perspective and thoroughly. And teaches that problems might happen in your life, but you must not give up and try other methods and perspectives while approaching and solving those problems. It is calming but sometimes a mind-boggling and unnerving experience. In conclusion, it's a fun,A whole new approach to puzzle games.     The forced perspective game mechanic alone makes Superliminal an essential buy for those looking for a new first-person puzzler. Both mind-bogglingly clever and hilarious use of environmental storytelling, the potential to be a classic is limited by its short play time and unnecessary exposition.

    Superliminal offers unique gameplay elements for a fun evening, but the experience won’t leave an impact. Its perspective features turn out to be more of a novelty or a practical tech demo than a way to create an engaging narrative. While that alone might make it worth giving a try if you’re looking for an interesting experience, the idea of Superliminal works better on paper than in execution.

    Superliminal is still a really solid puzzle game. Its innovative main mechanic is worth the price of admission alone, with Pillow Castle taking the time to evolve and experiment with the mechanic so no two levels are ever exactly the same. What it lacks in challenge, story, and length it makes up for with its commitment to its perspective-based premise, carving a genuinely fun puzzler that's sure to leave aficionados of the genre satisfied.
