    The game itself is fun, but it is not worth what it costs. They still try to charge microtransactions in the game.

    Super Bomberman R there’s not much here
    Super Bomberman R is a puzzle game featuring a 3 hour long story mode and not much else…
    The game tells the story of the bombermen and ladies setting out to stop black hole and the 5 Dastardly bombers... you can play the game on multiple difficulty settings... The campaign takes places across 5 different worlds, each dedicated to one of the    Super Bomberman R there’s not much here
    Super Bomberman R is a puzzle game featuring a 3 hour long story mode and not much else…
    The game tells the story of the bombermen and ladies setting out to stop black hole and the 5 Dastardly bombers...
    you can play the game on multiple difficulty settings...
    The campaign takes places across 5 different worlds, each dedicated to one of the dastardly bombers... here you’ll be clearing challenges to work your way to the boss of that world...
    These challenges can vary from defeat all of the enemies, to find hidden keys, lead the stranded bombers to safety, and throw switches...
    And none of this is really challenging or engaging…
    it’s all sortve mindless…
    you start by choosing your character at the start of a chapter and you just drop bombs... these bombs will destroy objects in your place as well as take out enemies, you’ll find pickups to increase your speed for example or the amount of bombs you’re able to carry and drop…
    but you use these rules of bomb dropping and enemy slaying to complete these tasks…
    and none of the levels really get too challenging to solve or even though provoking.. There are a few... especially in the ice levels towards the end... but they are far too few and far in between... I would’ve liked having to use my brain more like I did in these ice levels as I’m sliding around like the caves in a Pokémon game… but for the most part all 3 hours of this game really remains the same... so it for the most part just feels like you’re going through the motions...
    it is possible to die, and you will a lot from blowing yourself up or enemies getting you, but you are able to spend gems to continue… gems earned both from completing chapters as well as in multiplayer…
    and at the end of these chapters there is again a boss battle.. These are probably the best moments of the game where you’re trying to trap your opponent and hit them bit ha bomb to then go against them in their final form to unlock the next stage…. These moments before the final show down do offer a bit of challenge and are better than the boss battle show downs themselves...
    Outside of the campaign there is a multiplayer mode where you’re facing 4 opponents to try and take each other out... be the last bomber standing…
    you can play locally as well as online, but I found it to be impossible to find enough players online to get any matches either ranked or unranked.. So unfortunately bomber man doesn’t realistically go beyond its 3 hour campaign which is a shame... sure you can grind for cash to unlock the many characters... but for what?
    Online is a ghost town.

    Malo, malo de verdad. Paralelismo casi de inmediato al verlo con Mighty No. 9 en cuanto a expectativas y realidad. Juego muy cutre, sin alma, con gráficas de bajo presupuesto y hecho, se ve, sin interés. Jugabilidad mediocre.
    De lo peor que se puede encontrar en la saga Bomberman (sino el peor).

    Konami appears to not know their own franchise and didnt listen the fans
    the online was dead since launch(i have the steam reviews to prove in 2018)
    Now they did the same with super bomberman r online

    it s a shame - konami doenst know how to run castlevania,silent hill and even bomberman

    Primeiro jogo do Bomberman para PC e ele não aceita nem controle? Nem o controle do Xbox que por padrão deveria funcionar com ele não está funcionando. Jogar Bomberman pelo teclado perde bastante da graça, principalmente quando queremos jogar de 2 jogadores.

    Story mode was 3 hours long. Multiplayer on PC was broken. Couldn't configure keyboard. The first boss looked cool, others looked like they were done by a junior artist and fast. Top speed is too fast to be fun.

    Super Bomberman R, it's a game alright. I've always loved playing the Bomberman games growing up, and despite this one not holding up too well against the others, it's still great fun playing with others.

    Both the campaign and the multiplayer lack the flourishes that make some of the older entries memorable, but the core gameplay still holds up enough to remain enjoyable for newcomers and more casual players of the series. You have to treat the game as a local multiplayer title instead of an online one and hope you don't get hit with controller issues. Considering both the price point and the fact that other indie titles have already run with this concept to a much better execution, however, your best bet is to check out the game once it goes on sale or has a good price drop.
