May 29, 2026The Super Bomberman Collection is a solid compilation of all the SNES/Super Famicom games that plays well, and it has enough digital artifacts to feel like its own exhibit inside a museum. Boss Rush is a fine addition to a franchise that has struggled with good boss design, but online play should have been included as multiplayer is the bulk of Bomberman's appeal.

Mar 3, 2026The Super Bomberman Collection is really just the cherry…bomb…on top of great ports. Red Art Studios and Konami have created a nostalgia-infused anthology that digitally captures the joy of ownership, which has become a positive experience over time for this four-decade-old series...The two have respected what Hudson Soft did so simply and so enduringly. As is often the case with nostalgia-baked remakes and ports, I tried so hard to find something here to convince me Super Bomberman was better left untouched. And all I could come up with was, “How can’t we have online multiplayer in 2026?” To end off, Super Bomberman really is the best of titles for a port thanks to its easy-to-grasp gameplay and its party spirit. For less than $30, this is an invitation to the party that is hard to turn down for fans and those who missed the lovable little ninja at his peak.

Feb 23, 2026Super Bomberman Collection is a real treat: the seven titles that make up the collection are great, with a pleasant and beautiful presentation. In addition, the game has a series of interesting audiovisual materials, useful gameplay tools, and a boss battle mode. Even if the multiplayer component could be better, the game is practically a perfect package for long-time fans or those curious to understand why the brand is so famous in the world of video games.
