THIS IS THE BEST BEAT EM UP GAME EVER

I played so many games like this one but this one is just the best by far. This game has such brilliant fighting mechanics. It sweeps the floor with the latest Tekken And Mortal Kombat. It moves slower making the combat more planned and strategic than the competitors" style. It is awesome so check it out and have a blast. Everyody will like this

A good ending to a game that started badly, SFV had a horrible release but it was improving little by little and bringing the content that was so much needed at the beginning.

Seth is a great addition to the game and has become my favourite character in the game. Otherwise, still a strong fighter for casual play.

The perfect fighting game took years to build!

The first iteration of Street Fighter 5 was a huge disappointment. Longtime SF player here - on release I couldn't really vibe with the fight money system, the sponsored skin mechanics, and the netcode had a ton of issues. Story mode wasn't even out yet, and the basic roster was unimpressive. Arcade edition improved on a lot of things, but

Longtime SF player here - on release I couldn't really vibe with the fight money system, the sponsored skin mechanics, and the netcode had a ton of issues. Story mode wasn't even out yet, and the basic roster was unimpressive. Arcade edition improved on a lot of things, but this new champion edition update really finishes off the game nicely. Wide variety of characters, stages, and unique VSkills and Triggers, it's a lot to learn.

The competitive scene is still thriving. Mechanically, the game is really fair and balanced and you do have a shot to win with pretty much any character. Until your buddy spends 500 hours watching pro players, memorizing frame data, and purchases a 'hit box' arcade controller just to beat you online.

It didn't start out this way, but in its current form Street Fighter V Champion Edition is the King of all Fighting Games.

A vast improvement when compared to this game’s abysmal launch. Championship Edition offers a complete roster with multiple options available for each character’s playstyle. The game still suffers from unreliable netcode (though it has improved over time) and the visuals do remain lackluster on certain stages and characters. However, this is by far one of the best value fighting game purchases you can make in the current market.

With Champion Edition, Street Fighter V achieves what may be its final form. Boasting a reasonable price and a wealth of content from the game's multiple seasons, it's a good deal. Still, the fighting game's netcode and monetization schemes need work.

A game that is not only at its best when played with other humans, but is critically dependent on them. [Issue#344, p.112]

If you don't like the price, wait for a discount. If you can't stomach a couple of problems on the technical side of things, the most serious of which being the bad netcode, wait for a patch. If you consider yourself a fan of fighting games, however, do get Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. It's a highly enjoyable title that will manage to please newcomers and veterans, and it has tons of content for those who aren't into the online aspect of it all. It's Street Fighter V as it always should be.
