Oct 24, 2022A good ending to a game that started badly, SFV had a horrible release but it was improving little by little and bringing the content that was so much needed at the beginning.

Mar 25, 2022Seth is a great addition to the game and has become my favourite character in the game. Otherwise, still a strong fighter for casual play.

May 1, 2020With Champion Edition, Street Fighter V achieves what may be its final form. Boasting a reasonable price and a wealth of content from the game's multiple seasons, it's a good deal. Still, the fighting game's netcode and monetization schemes need work.

Edge MagazineMar 26, 2020A game that is not only at its best when played with other humans, but is critically dependent on them. [Issue#344, p.112]

Feb 28, 2020If you don't like the price, wait for a discount. If you can't stomach a couple of problems on the technical side of things, the most serious of which being the bad netcode, wait for a patch. If you consider yourself a fan of fighting games, however, do get Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. It's a highly enjoyable title that will manage to please newcomers and veterans, and it has tons of content for those who aren't into the online aspect of it all. It's Street Fighter V as it always should be.
