[Anonymous]Jul 3, 2009Wow! playing it at 1920x1200 is absolutely beautiful. at that resolution, anti-aliasing is unnecessary. if you have a decent system, amke sure the v-sync is turned unless you enjoy screen tearing. running at 60fps at TRUE HD rez is amazing. the pc version is the definitive top of the line version. easy to learn hard to master street fighter heaven!

PhilipCoetzeeAug 19, 2009This is the best most accessable Street Fighter yet, there aren't many fighting games on the PC and none as good as Street Fighter 4. The online gaming works well but make sure to only join games with at least 4 bars of "signal" (latency/ping) to get a smooth play.

Nov 10, 2011SF4? do we even have to explain what is SF4? its the best 2-D fighting game ever... and its on PC! that is the only really good fighting game on PC! buy a copy and play it.

ChrisB.Jan 12, 2010Great Looking Grafik, better gameplay and all thene the console versions, but it's still the same like the f...ing snes version and so i give only 7 points, i really liked to see a new gameplay like tekken or something else ......

JohnRobinsonAug 26, 2009Very polished game. No blood or gore, so in my books it is not too bad for kids as well as adults. My children and I enjoy challenging one another, and they just love beating Dad. Lots of fun, and the online component works very well. It's a great game and the developers deserve high praise.

EugenioabcJul 15, 2009Since i bought this game, i thought it was a normal fighiting game... i have played it for 10 min and I LOVE IT!! the spectacular graphic and the unbelieveble online gameplay makes this game THE BEST in the fighting-games section! that's all folks!

MashuDJul 20, 2009Definitely a great successor to the previous Street Fighter series, this game mixes tried-and-true fun with fresh game mechanics to create the perfect fighting game. Since the game is very easy to learn, but hard to master, everyone will have fun improving their skills!

AdamBDec 30, 2009This doesn't beat out the games previously listed. A 2-Player fighter game can't compare to the awesome releases such as borderlands and Left 4 Dead 2.

JimEDec 22, 2009Great intro, I really disliked the fact that a Microsoft Xbox Live login window popped up and told me my setting would not be saved unless I have a Live Xbox account. Capcom BIG mistake letting Microsoft's Xbox console login methods ruin your game.

Oct 22, 2010I liked this game till I realised that you can't play versus on a LAN. Versus only works when on-line unless you share the same PC which SUCKS.. The Graphics and Game play excellent which was exactly what I expected from a CAPCOM STREETFIGHTER Title.

AnonymousMCJul 24, 2009offline mode - little to no replay value.
online mode - full of hackers, rage quitters, slow motion play, and gfwl (games for windows live) is a joke and you can't block trouble makers. pc version is an utter fail and i have already deleted this garbage off my system. console version is much much better. -

KabouterWNov 12, 2009This game is as slow as thick poo through a funnel. I bet the 90+ ratings come from mag-reviewers with monster PC's at their office. I had too turn off almost all of the graphics on my brand new dual-core AMD with 2GB of memory and a

Jan 13, 2013As one of my friends said, "Street Fighter is really fun to play. But lacks enough content for me to even consider putting £40 on it. I really like the fighting though."

Feb 17, 2016Get this - the game is not on XBOX, yet the button prompts are xbox and the only controllers apart from Steam's that are supported are Xbox sticks. What the f....
You also can't rebind keys.
There is also maybe 30 minutes worth of singleplayer, which will not save stats because it requires always online, and to top it all off the servers are constantly down.

Jun 20, 2020Not really a fighting fan, but this game was quietly enjoyable. With great character variety.
-
Jan 22, 2014The king of fighting games. Nothing compares to the depth, mechanics and meta game of SF4.
Best of the best. A game with millions of fans. Inspiring people to get better and to know more and study it.
Never gets boring. 10/10 -
Mar 22, 2015Street Fighter IV is a 2D fighting style/arcade game voted the number one game released by Capcom, taking place several months after street fighter II, After M.Bison's survival from his encounter with Akuma, the S.I.N. corporation began another fighting tournament in order to draw out the most powerful fighters on Earth to complete the BLECE project.

Apr 20, 2021Street Fighter IV fpr PC is by far the best version you can get. The fights are balanced, beautiful graphics and nearly perfect gameplay. An easy to play but hard to master fighting game, you should definitely check out!
-
Apr 7, 2023Just text (crutch) to save the game to the list. Such things. Maybe I'll do a review later.

After years of absence on PC, Street Fighter comes back to PC with a flawless version of this outstanding fighting game. SF IV is a well balanced, fun and an easy to play but hard to master game, but the compatible version adds some welcome visual changes and a fantastic performance in a huge variety of systems.
-
Street Fighter IV makes difficult things look easy, and achieves one of the best fighting games in this generation. Apparently simple but plenty of possibilities, this game is accessible and deep at the same time: Capcom presses the right button once again.
-
Street Fighter IV is the perfect heir of the Capcom saga. It is a great recreation of the original's spirit, its unbeatable gameplay and the near infinite online mode make it the best fighting game of this generation.
