    vale la pena cada céntimo que cuesta. Divertido, muy jugable, visualmente precioso y duración adecuada además de rejugable (teniendo en cuenta que es un indie y cuesta unos 25€....que más se puede pedir?)

    Mon jeu préféré de 2022.
    Graphiquement beau et émouvant.
    J'ai adoré toute l'aventure et la fin est magnifique. Le seul point négatif serait la durée de vie trop courte à mon gout mais bon. Le prix payé pour ce jeu en précommande était tout à fait raisonnable. Aucun bug à signaler et ca fait du bien de jouer Day one à un jeu sans problème. Hâte de reprendre l'aventure sur une    Mon jeu préféré de 2022.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Лучшая игра из тех, что выходили в последние годы, в которые я играл. А играл я в них не много, к сожалению. Но не об этом. В Stray мы, играя за кота, попавшего в город роботов, должны вернуться "наверх", в обычный мир, в котором, судя по всему, совсем не осталось людей, попутно узнавая этот город, когда-то населенный людьми, и знакомясь с роботами, которые после них остались. Кот начинает путь в одиночку, встречается с местными маленькими монстрами и убегает от них, в городе никого нет. Но затем он встречает искусственный интеллект B-12, который остается с ним до самого финала. Он переводит для кота все разговоры роботов и надписи, а также каким-то образом оцифровывает все находимые предметы, которые помещаются в специальный "рюкзак" на коте. Непосредственно после встречи мы попадаем в первую открытую часть города, в которой находим нужного робота, помогаем ему и еще нескольким, и, по желанию открыв все углы, двигаемся дальше. Не буду подробно пересказывать сюжет, чтобы оставить место для впечатлений. Словом, преодолев еще несколько опасных участков с маленькими монстрами и пройдя еще один полуоткрытый сегмент, мы добираемся до главной части города, находим нужного робота из местного сопротивления, попадаем с ней в тюрьму, выбираемся и на метро доезжаем до станции, где расположен выход на поверхность. Здесь B-12, который по ходу пути вспомнил, что был человеком, жертвует собой, чтобы открыть верхние створки ворот, блокирующих выход и накрывающих город куполом, и это выглядит трогательно. Кот возвращается в свой мир. Мне крайне понравилась это простая, но интересная история. Игра хорошо оптимизирована и позволяет насладиться прекрасно проработанными локациями в стиле киберпанк. Геймплей незамысловат, но для новой игры, в которой ты бродишь за кота, пытаясь найти путь домой и выжить, он подходит. Роботы интересно копируют поведение людей. Сегменты с "убеганием" от монстриков и с их уничтожением тоже сделаны неплохо. Ну, и небольшая история и предыстория местного мира не дают заскучать, учитывая, опять же, что это киберпанк. Игра достойна прохождения и, возможно, перепрохождения. 10 наколок на рюкзак кота из 10.… Expand

    Эта игра хоть и проходится за 5-6 часов,но дарит незабываемые эмоции, которые не смогла подарить не одна новая или старая игра AAA. А концовка разорвало моё сердце ДВАЖДЫ! Короче, не играл- поиграй.

    El mejor juego de la última década bueno entra mínimo en top 5 Desde su historia gráficos animación y jugabilidad todo va bien todo combina muy bien Adoro este juego. Mi respetos la verdad y espero que salga la segúnda parte

My only gripe is that the game doesn't allow any resolution to be used other than the desktop resolution if you want fullscreen. I have played countless of excellent games since the 80s and this is one of the very few each decade that offers something original to some extend at least. The main reasons it doesn't get a perfect score is that a) part of its gameplay is to some extend derivative because the quest design is relatively predictable and b) a minorityThis game is clearly one of the best games ever created.     One of the better and more unique platformer-puzzle games out there with an interesting world building, emotional storyline, satisfying gameplay, simple but fun puzzle and chase/stealth levels, and to top that off it has good graphics, music and sound effects.

    If not for the bittersweet slightly open-ended conclusion, I would've given this a perfect 10.

    This game had me from the very start. I was curious about where the story was going to and i couldn't stop playing.     Super cute. 100% recommended if you love animals (specially cats) and if you like those little but beautiful stories.
    I think It have some minor optimization problems but nothing too problematic. The puzzles are enjoyable but not too difficult so every body can enjoy the game.

    I know that game is indi and it's masterpiece really. But I cannot put 10 for it cause it has it's problems. Which is essential. But they present.

    Stray est un jeu exceptionnel, proposant d'incarnez un chat des plus réel. Et ce choix est réussi avec un héros très bien animé et où le jeu joue pleinement avec ces capacités de félin adorable.
    Le tout dans un univers cohérent aux ambiances très bien travaillé accompagné d'une excellente bande sonore.     When I sat down to play, I had no expectations. And in the end, i enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful graphics and atmosphere, simple and enjoyable gameplay. There is nothing outstanding in the story, but it is interesting to play. This game is really a small masterpiece.

    Beautiful, dark, and simple, this game which can be beat within a day is no less a marvel as you control (for the first time?) an ordinary cat with all the unique abilities/distractions that come with it, making it fun to travel across and through buildings, interact with items & citizens, and find your way out of this grimy, detailed, but charming robot city.

    Stray is an amazing game, tho does still have very few performance-based issues (nothing the average player will see). Even tho it's short if you follow the story you'll get hooked, it's new and very fun!

Эта игра просто создана как показать какую-то историю. Да , лично мне не хватало тоже свободных передвижений и прочего, но я смирился с этим , ибо понимал что это не triple-A проект, и стоит она не дорого по сравнению с остальными играми. За свои деньги, игра шикарная. Любителям кошек понравиться 10/10. История не настолько длинная конечно, но помним тот факт что и игра сама по себе не дорогая, и не позиционировала как какой-то большой проект. Красивейшая графика, кот ощущается как будто живой, все эти мелкие детали когда кот ходит по клавиатуре, или же запрыгивает на пианино сделано очень круто. Во многих играх такие мелкие детали упускают, но тут это добавили и за это уже игра достойна хорошей оценки. Игра очень приятная, плавная, всегда держит в интересе что будет дальше, интересная история с интересной концовкой. Лично я не ожидал поворота сюжета как в конце и и мне стало приятно, что сюжет игры не читается с первых миссий. Для тех кому жалко отдавать за эту игру 30$ идите играйте в FIFA ,которая стоит больших денег , а на деле является обычной донатной мусоркой.

What I did not expect is how much fun I'm going to have doing this and how pretty it's going to be. I have enjoyed the story very much, didn't experience any bugs or crashes that would impair my experience. Of course there were 2-3 hitches, but tbh - didn't bother me at all, I can endure 2sec of trouble from time to time.
    What I also did not expect is the emotional damage I got from the ending... The feels! I love games that interact with our thoughts and emotions, and are about something more than just clicking on time. So the ending really got to me. He lost a friend! T_T What I'd appreciate would be if we saw him reuniting with his cat friends from Outside after he walks out. That would be a cherry on top, a balm for my soul. So yeah, I lacked this. I was playing to reunite him with his cat crew (that he lost in the Prologue) and I didn't see this happening so a bit disappointing...    … Expand

    Stray is a marvelous game with its brand new cyberpunk x feline mash up. graphics, designs and over all story was beautiful but gameplay style was a bit repetitive, i love it either ways.

Игра единственная за кого ты играешь за котика который ищет надежду вернуться домой через неизведанный безлюдный киберпанковый мир населенными хорошими и плохими роботами. The rich-story telling and amazing characters are simply unforgettable. I can see myself coming back to this game just to simply enjoy the games cat mechanics. Ultimately the reason why this didn't get a 10 from me is because it simply left me wanting more inStray was almost perfect for me.     Fabulous game experience, REALLY MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A CAT.
    You will find lots of fun details, such as walked to a ladder get stuck, and remembered you are a cat, not a human.
    Truly masterpiece!!

    Un juego hermoso que viene para refrescar la industria. Stray es un juego simple pero bien hecho, tiene unos muy buenos gráficos y una muy buena optimización (lo probé con una gtx 1060 y una gtx 750ti). Como puntos negativos, diría que se hace algo corto y que esperaba un mejor final.
    En resumen Stray es un juego recomendable para aquellos que quieren un juego diferente y memorable.

    я все ж таки хочу побачити DLC, бо я не знаю що можна робити у 2 частині.

If you change the protagonist to any other creature that can climb around effortlessly (lets say Prince of Persia) you wouldn't miss anything, and that's a disappointment.

    Also, collecting all the memories and badges without any reward, not    Game is beautiful in details, vibe is there, especially for Love Death Robots fans, but it lacks a bit of bravery to make it even more a cat-game. If you change the protagonist to any other creature that can climb around effortlessly (lets say Prince of Persia) you wouldn't miss anything, and that's a disappointment.

    Also, collecting all the memories and badges without any reward, not giving any kind of multiple ending, not even finishing the game properly is a let-down that would bring game under 8 mark.

    But, I support the studio, support the idea and hopefully they will make a sequel or some DLC that could fix the things that are missing at this moment. Physics is honestly a let down in 2022 and the cat... well... it does look like a cat, but i did expect a bunch more of freedom what it will do except for scratching here and there and stuck a head in a bag.

    However, I did enjoy the game. Not as much as I would like to (as I am a cat owner), but still, I would gladly recommend it to the others. Nice experience ♥    … Expand

    What a beautiful and from time to time emotional ride this was. I had so much fun to following this cat do cat things and befriend the lovely robots. For every person that likes heartwarming Storys and cats, this is your game.

    This is a game for a specific type of player and for those players it's a fuzzy little gem. There's nothing revolutionary as far as mechanics or setting but the overall vibe is very pleasant and the storyline is engaging to boot. This is a fantastic rainy/snow day game to settle in with and just enjoy.

    game that many waiting for many systems. graphically par with trilbe aaa titles. gameplay wise not use cat potansial crazy but stil leveling cat game animations bar quaite high to beat. the future theme good but unsual to use this game bcouse we dont have good normal cat game even yet until this.

    What a damn fine game. It's short but worth it. I've never played anything like this. It's certainly unique. No bugs. Nice maps. Good for young or starter gamers. Great art aesthetic and animation work. Amazing work from a small studio. Very impressive. Much cat.

    I had a good time playing it. The controls feel responsive and you absolutely feel like a cat playing it. You can even scratch carpets and doors! And there's a meow button, that's important!

    I also liked the environments and characters. It felt very unique, which kept me interested in learning what it was all about. The graphics are great, even on the Steam Deck (where I played it). And    I had a good time playing it. The controls feel responsive and you absolutely feel like a cat playing it. You can even scratch carpets and doors! And there's a meow button, that's important!

    The game makes good use of the implemented mechanics. They did a very good job of revealing a mechanic, let you play with it for a while, and then expand that same mechanic, which made it feel new again. They do this several times, and it works well to avoid gameplay fatigue.

    My only, tiny, gripe, is with the ending. It was a decent ending, but it could have been expanded for a better emotional impact. It did feel a tiny bit rushed.

    If you like relatively chill gaming experiences, with puzzles, some action, an interesting world and mostly cozy characters, this is the game for you.    … Expand

With only 5-6 hours length it does not overstay its welcome. I really liked how you always had visual and sound queues on where to go next or if there is still an item in a room you did not pick up. Movement felt natural after a few minutes but I would have preferred freedom in where to jump. I thought the ending was disappointing, I cant believe you did not reunite with your buddies from the beginning!… Expand

    Что я могу сказать про жанр игры? Во-первых, это без шуток - лучший симулятор кота, анимациям хоть и не хватает AAA бюджета, но для инди-игры всё очень достойно и "плавно" смотрится, а в перерывах между забегами вы сможете и ногти почесать об "дощечку", и "пройтись поглаживая" между ног робота, и, пофоткать себе фоны для рабочего стола, мило свернувшись клубочком в местах для сна, а можете просто часами бегать и распихивать многочисленные физические объекты, раскиданные на каждом углу мира.
    Во-вторых, это Симулятор Ходьбы с элементами ролевых игр (даже название переводится как "бродить" вроде), если вы надеялись на сюжетную игру, то, увы, нет, даже концовка тут не даёт никаких ответов и является "формальностью", сюжет тут больше сконцетрирован в лоре игры, добро пожаловать в очередной апокалипсис в сеттинге киберпанка, все люди вымерли, города превратились в помойки, где живут "человекоподобные" роботы, а также мелкие местные гусеницаподобные хэдкрабы.
    Квестом я бы игру тоже не назвал, возьми предмет, поднеси туда то - "дверка откроется", головоломки тут вроде на таком уровне. Также можно будет применять вещи из инвентаря и разговаривать с "неписями", используя вашего робота-помощника.
    Тут ещё хороший саундтрек, который способен подарить вам пару эмоциональных моментов, но, опять же, это не полноценная "сюжетная игра", так что всё ограничивается заскриптованными побегами, которые будут очень похожи друг на друга. Могу ещё отметить, что пока оптимизация очень хромает, при далеко не самой технологичной графике, но это исправимо, хотя-бы багов вообще нет.

    A moving and deep game. Cute mechanics and a breathtaking journey. Innovative in some ways, even in the storytelling. I wish it would be longer though, it's way too short. Perfect game for cat lovers.
    P.S.: the atmosphere of this game gave me some vibes of Half-life/Portal/Cyberpunk games.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i love it. the game is very casual because it's basically a cat walking simulator but it demands exploring every nook and cranny of every level. i loved figuring out the sidequests! they were completely optional. i felt accomplished when i found out all the notebook pages, 8 items needed to continue the game. finding the optional energy drinks was fun. Listening to the muisioc was a pleasure. The 8-bit style music and the weird synth music was so cool to hear. i got emotional a little bit when the cat felt sorry for b12, the tiny little robot. the only few very annoying parts was the chase scenes where the headcrab woul;d overpower my cat and kill it. and the lazer shooting sentinel droids that killed me so many times. i really hated those things. it was thte most frusting part. the part where you had to lure 2 sentinel droids into the little room, i died maybe 6-7 times. one shot of the lazer would kill of my cat. I think the orange cat is super cute too, it looks like puss in boots if he were real life. The game's lore is surprisingly deep. It only gives tidbits of what happened to all the humans and how did robots came to be, and those huge ugly eyeball things in the sewers. They were vcery creepy and were never explained in the game. The visuals are quite impressive. I sometimes found myself going into first person view and looking around a little bit to read something or take a closer look. Some rooms had a lot of little details that were so interesting because it says a lot about the person (robot) living there. By thte end of the game, i was super interested what happens next and I hope there's a sequel! Did B12 survive? did the robot friends make it? What happened to the robots after the roof opened up? so many questions open for interpretation.… Expand

    The story is about a cat that falls by accident in a big hole and gets trapped in some type of futuristic robotic world that is sealed from the exterior world. In this world, robots live as people in a city that resembles a human city, with favelas (inequality), stores, robots singing, dancing, talking, drinking, and being oppressed by other robots.

    In that context, we find another robot that is actually, plot twist, the last human in the world, and with him, we communicate with other robots and discover little by little what happened in this world.

    In a nutshell, this is a dystopian world in which every human died from a plague but the robots that served them evolved to inherit the human's habits.

    The story isn't the best one but works very well, especially the mystery of discovering things slowly. The only thing it lacked was a longer duration since it took just 5h30 to finish it and maybe less disposable characters, since every character except the human-robot and the cat are disposable (even the human is disposable in the ending), and all of them are disposed of without a plausible reason.

    Gameplay 8/10
    No doubt this is one of the most creative games I've played in my life. Playing as a cat is very interesting and creative but that is not the only thing that makes this game so creative, it is how he constantly introduces you of new mechanics and discards them, so they don't feel tiresome, for instance first you play just as a cat, then a cat + robot, then you have to flee from "mini-kirby" enemies type, then they give you a weapon that can kill them, then they remove this type of enemy and introduce a sentinel type of enemy.

    But the gameplay consists more of solving puzzles. The puzzles are mostly well done they aren't hard enough to search in the Google the solution but they aren't so easy that you don't feel good for solving them. Also, there are many situations you need the cat agility, speed and size to solve the puzzle/issue and that feels good.

    But, there are some parts with puzzles that aren't so well done IMO and although the gameplay mechanics aren't tiresome these parts can be.

    It has amazing art style, great music and environment, really nice graphics and the cat and robots animations are just on point. In the other hand, I would have liked a little bit better to have another 5 hours of gameplay (I finished it in 7 hours). The ending was also anticlimactic, ending abruptly and leaving behind unresolved plot holes.

    There isn't much to do in the world besides blindly going around trying to figure out where to go next, which is where you spend the bulk of your time. The NPCs in the game are unironically robotic and all but the main ones give no more than two lines of speech each. You could count the total number of quests that you must go through on a hand or two.

    Overall, the aesthetic the developers were striving for was certainly achieved, but Stray remains an early access proof of concept at best. There were many gameplay features introduced that only saw use once or twice. In its current state, I find it highly difficult to recommend this game at MSRP.     Stray cuenta la historia de un gato que se separo de su manada tras caer en una alcantanilla de una ciudad abandonada llena de robots. El desenlace de esta es muy buena, super lineal con muy pocas misiones secundarias que te hagan perder el hilo, es muy interesante, me hubiera gustado que se conociera mas sobre la historia de los antiguos y del gato ya que ni siquiera sabemos su nombre. Tiene una duracion de 6 u 8 horas aprox

    Con respecto a los graficos es una obra de arte, le falta un poco de oclusion ambiental y refinado en el pelaje del gato, increible que se le haya pasado ese "detalle", los escenarios estan excelentemente bien detallados, tanto que hasta te cuentan parte de la historia, dando vida al mundo y a los personajes robots. El diseño de arte de este juego es admirable por otras empresas, insolito que no tenga modo foto.

    Algo que no me gusto es el "recorte" que tiene en los ultimos 40 minutos, en esa parte se presentan escenarios nuevos muy detallados importantes para la historia pero pasan super desapercibidos por el poco tiempo que estamos en el. Lo mismo ocurre en parte con la jugabilidad, durante el juego se nos presentan mecanicas de disparo, de sigilo, de escapar, puzzles, pero son muy poco aprovechadas, las usamos 10-30 minutos y listo, se me hizo un desperdicio.

    La jugabilidad es muy buena, imita muy bien las animaciones y gestos de un gato, es medio tosco en los saltos, incluso hay un boton exclusivo para maullar, que no aporta nada mas que para el sigilo, pero me la pase usandolo en momentos donde creeria que un gato maullaria en la vida real, dandole vida al personaje que es muy callado de por si.

    El juego es muy facil, super intuitivo, no aporta ningun desafio para el jugador, es un walking simulator, no hay para elegir una dificultad.

A cat simulator this is not: while you might happen to be controlling a creature that looks like one, this is clearly a cat with human purpose and motivations. That's disappointing: I had hoped for more cleverness in the puzzle solving, and more unique mechanics because of the character.     Still on the good side of things: the game plays well, is presented well, and is fun to play. The story it tells is good and engaging.     The developers achieved the maximum of what the engine offers. But for today's standard, its not enough. On PS4 I had to struggle with many lag issues, one time the game even crashed (when entering a map in the sewers chapter). Performance problems so long after the release are not good.
    Also many objects have no or less weight, so colliding with the cat turns out ridiculous. The bad mirror animation is not acceptable.
    The main issue of the game is the very short play time. It took me six hours, you can finish it in four without missing any important part of the game. Four hours is not enough to justify the price.
    When i stumbled on the first memory, the UI predicted that the story would be very short.
    The game is a walking simulator; which is no problem at all.
    I see a huge problem in the way the cat is placed in the world. The only way to communicate is with a little hovering robot via text boxes like any RPG. This does not fit to the alive, speedy cat. Why is the protagonist a cat? Why not a dog or a mouse, a Squirrel or a human? The story would not be different.
    Furthermore the difficulty of the puzzles and the enemy encounters is way too low. You can finish the game without a single death on the first try without any problems.

    I like the setting, also the story and the idea is ok, but the whole story is way too predictable. You can summarize the whole plot in a single sentence.
    There are no easter-eggs, not much cat-related, why is there not a single clue about humans owning cats? Not a single joke about dogs, mice and so on.

    I don't understand the sum of good reviews.
    On the one hand "Stray" is a beautiful and creative game which asks questions about pollution, evolution and the place of animals and humans in the present and future.

    On the other hand the game is nothing more than a four hour experience (cut-scenes included) with technical issues, mediocore plot and more or less outdated graphics.

    I guess anything between 6 and 8 points is fair.
    But 9 or even 10 points are too much for this game. I would compare it to "Tiny and Big". Also an indie game, short story, creative way of story-telling, sci-fi-setting.

    I had fun, i like the game, i will play it a second time, but i expected much more.

    Finished the game in 4 hours. The graphics are very nice, but the gameplay is too shallow. The game only requires player to press jump button without care too much about the environment because there's only one way to go through the path. You can't jump without the prompt, so you don't need to figure out the safe way to go to the destination since the game does it for you. It really ruinsFinished the game in 4 hours.     NOT A GAME. It is an experience, that of a cat in cyberpunk. It has no gameplay, just walking. I would also say it should be shorter by couple hours, otherwise it really doesn't bring anything new at all for the last couple chapters. But for what it is, a cat experience, it is done pretty damn well.

    I spent a couple of hours playing Stray and it felt like a generic walking simulator, so I decided to uninstall the game.

    I feel that it received extremely high ratings just because the main character is a cat. The game is average at best.

    Playing Stray felt strange to me. While I was certainly enjoying the experience to some degree, I didn't really feel like I was actually controlling anything. It felt like I was bearing witness to a movie, just with myself telling the character where to go. A sense of disconnect washed over me, as I realised that all I was doing was playing a video game.     Stray is based on an interesting concept which is not that easy to be stretched into a full game and that is exactly where this game becomes a boring shallow piece of game that hides itself behind good graphics and “cat” protagonists.

The artists had a good understanding of colour pallets and were pretty successful with setting the most appropriate mood. At first you are lost in a beautiful city which appears to be mysterious and interesting. But when the game goes on a little more, dialogues are introduced which is to be honest a big slap in the face. The reading completely interrupts the pace of the game and really draws you out of that detailed world. The story -again like the game itself- carries a fresh idea, a unique take on post apocalyptic world that truly makes you think but when it comes to actually turning the idea into a full story, I think it wasn’t good at all. Stray wasn’t able to get me interested in the story even a little bit. There are a good amount of characters but all of them are so hollow and soulless and they all struggle so hard with making the player care about them. There are a bunch of moments where you are supposed to get emotional but believe me you won’t feel a thing.
    Now is the time for the real stuff. I mean gameplay. Well, There’s none of that. About fifteen minutes of stealth and that’s it, for the rest of the game just turn the camera a little, press the jump button, and the game will do the rest for you.
    Overall Stray manages to take you in an atmospheric, well made world with magnificent sound design and nice music and then shatters the illusion with glitches, stupid dialogues, boring gameplay, and so on.    … Expand

    - также это симулятор помощи бесполезным роботам, которые ничем тебе не помогают, а только дают каждый раз новые задания, сходи туда, поговори с этим, принеси это.
    -платформинга здесь нет, котик прыгает только туда, куда позволяет игра и только по команде игрока
    - скучные персонажи, которые быстро забываются.

    В итоге имеем посредственную игру за кота, которая не является симулятором, с посредственным сюжетом, неинтересными диалогами и персонажами, обёрнутую в хорошую графику и дизайном локаций, но без геймплея.    … Expand

    The only feature of the game is that it looks good. There is nothing in gameplay. There are puzzles that even preschoolers can do, and there are also the mechanics of running and jumping. I mean, these are very nice mechanics for the 1990s, but I don't know exactly how this game offers interesting mechanics to people. It seems that no one wanted to look critically at the game. Although the game is short, it is so boring that I kept waiting for it to end even though it ended in 3 hours and 55 minutes. The game has almost nothing to offer you. Of course there is, but what is it? There is jumping. If you are excited to have jumping mechanics in a game, this game is good for you.

    The story that the game tells is also not beautiful, although it does not take itself seriously. I mean, if they made the story incomprehensible and we didn't understand it, we might think that there is something better, but they are officially putting such a simple story in front of us. After he finished, he said, "Well, was that it?" You stare at the screen.

    The only good part of the game is that it looks good, they tried hard to make it look good, they gave it their due, no lie. But if that's all the game has to offer, there are plenty of games that look better.

    I mean I respect the people who loved it because it has great graphics, okay gameplay, good story etc. But it just wasn't for me, too much riddles, gets slow sometimes and the story doesn't take you in until you've played 2 hours or more. After that it's story becomes pretty good but the first 2 3 hours feels like 10. For me, a mid game but definitely not bad.

    The faithfully rendered, authentically impoverished setting goes a bit against the more magical technologies that accompany the cat's adventures. Suddenly, the game is left with nothing more than the atmosphere of each area, which fortunately in Stray's case still means a hell of a lot. [Issue#321]

    Stray is an awesome looking game, with a neon-cyberpunk world that feels like it is alive. The run-time is short enough that the gameplay loop of solving puzzles via finding random items scattered throughout the world is well complemented from sequences that require running from area to area without getting caught by local mutated predators. While Stray is pretty to look at and is fun while it lasts the limitations of movement and rather simplistic puzzles hold this back from being greater than it could have been.

    Leisurely promenades and simple puzzles are interspersed with action moments where you have to flee from local aggressive fauna. There’s also some stealth involved. These segments aren’t stellar, but they do shake things up nicely. [Issue#260, p.58]
