I like the way this game looks and feels. The interface is logical and easy to use. It has a decent AI, but I have never ever ever seen a really good AI (not including tic tac toe, checkers or chess). Write one yourself and you will see why. This is the best strategic game I have played about the WW2. This is very interesting but I wish I had the full game because I only have the demo which stops at the end of 1941.

It's an addictive little game for a while, but after you've beaten it a few times, you won't go back. [Nov 2002, p.129]
  2. If you're looking for some "war gaming lite" or are new to war games, Strategic Command's simple play mechanics and grand scale might make it an enjoyable diversion for you.
  3. For the most part, it's a satisfying re-creation of the struggle that defined the 20th century. But because it lacks a challenging AI, it eventually falls apart as anything other than a multiplayer game.
