    Stranded Deep is just amazing! I mean, seriously, this survival game blew me away. From the get-go, I was hooked on its stunning tropical scenery and the way it totally transports you to this deserted island adventure. It's crazy how real it feels, you know? I had a blast scavenging for resources and building all kinds of cool tools to stay alive. Oh, and the weather changes and wildlifeStranded Deep is just amazing! I mean, seriously, this survival game blew me away. From the get-go, I was hooked on its stunning tropical scenery and the way it totally transports you to this deserted island adventure. It's crazy how real it feels, you know? I had a blast scavenging for resources and building all kinds of cool tools to stay alive. Oh, and the weather changes and wildlife encounters kept me on my toes. It's like every day is a whole new challenge!     It's barely a release ready game. TLDR; get Raft, Forest or Green Hell.

    Your initial island may not have enough resources to be able to get a viable start (not enough fibers to craft rope -> you die of thirst). The UI is really confusing, e.g. you have one empty inventory slot but you can't pick up an item due to no room in inventory. The game doesn't explain how to assign items to    It's barely a release ready game. TLDR; get Raft, Forest or Green Hell.

    The UI is really confusing, e.g. you have one empty inventory slot but you can't pick up an item due to no room in inventory. The game doesn't explain how to assign items to belt slots once you craft it. It doesn't explain how to switch crafting screens (or that there are any in fact). Sometimes you can't equip an item you have in inventory due to... not enough space in inventory. You need to have an extra empty slot... but not always and not for all items.
    Sometimes you can create item piles, sometimes not. Sometimes the anchor works, sometimes not.
    Special locations, like wrecks, can spawn inside geometry making them inaccessible.
    Physics is a baloon city, everything feels like helium baloons.
    Graphics are of bad quality, while the game uses a low of PC resources.
    There is no map but you need it to know where the quest locations are.

    In summary, it's a game that in its current state would be acceptable as a start of Early Access. But the game was there and now it's a 'full' release. Not worth considering above 5$ price level IMO but there are many better games out there to grab instead.    … Expand

    Could be better. It is kinda laggy and hard to play. I see the logic behind the survival skill thing ,but it's not well balanced

    I would have rather given it 6.5. I really liked the concept, and the game is fun but it has a lot of problems.

    My problem with it, is that after a while it gets repetitive. There are only a few types of shipwrecks that you can explore and after a while it just gets boring to explore and all that is left to do is to catch fish and collect water. The bosses are fun to fight but besides    I would have rather given it 6.5. I really liked the concept, and the game is fun but it has a lot of problems.

    My problem with it, is that after a while it gets repetitive. There are only a few types of shipwrecks that you can explore and after a while it just gets boring to explore and all that is left to do is to catch fish and collect water. The bosses are fun to fight but besides that, there is not much to do. I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the islands and a map. I know there is one in the menu but it is inaccessible when you are in game. I guess it was meant to make navigation harder but it just makes it painfully time consuming.

    To touch on the positive side, the game looks good, and it ran whiteout any issues. The building was decent and the for the first like 20 in game days the whole exploration and survival aspect was really fun as well.

    I completed the game twice and despite all of its problems I would recommend everyone to give it a try as it is really fun up to a certain point. All in all It feels unfinished, but it can be a very good game with some more work.    … Expand

    Overall, the concept is good but really needs a lot more refining, menu crafting menu's with larger islands with more variance, the biggest issue is that it takes a long long time before the game gets interesting by finding a suitable island to build a decent base, and most players will either check out or rage quit before that happens which is unfortunate which make modding the game basically essential.    … Expand

    The best way to survive Stranded Deep? Build a nice beach house, a farm in the backyard, food roasting on the beach. Enjoy your life-time vacation :)

    It's easier than green hell. Graphics are great. Performance is okay. Survival aspect is not fun to do for alot of hours. The most amount of fun time you can get out of this is 100 hours.
