Dec 27, 2022For me this the first expansion that I don't like because all it does is take a working, reasonable mechanic and unjustly complicate it without delivering any significant benefit. So a lot of work is required and little fun is achieved.
The relays feel like a poor man's alternative to the existing gate mega structure. The catapult is nice and a good idea.

Jun 20, 2022Overlord is a bountiful expansion to Stellaris that enriches one of the few remaining underdeveloped aspects of the base game. However, its core additions may not seem particularly "vital" to all players.

May 25, 2022Overlord delivers the usual good quality. However, the vassal mechanics in particular will not be equally relevant to everyone.

May 13, 2022Overlord DLC turned out to be very fascinating. It changes and complements some of the basics of Stellaris and allows you to take a different look at the usual formula of space empire' development.
