    This game has absolutely renewed my love for Star Wars in a way that the new movies have failed to do. The story is intense and quite dark, but I was gripped from start to finish.

    The game is dripping with star wars lore and Respawn has done justice to the franchise. I cannot recommend the game enough even though there are issues like optimization.

    the whole story is part of the new canon. The game has the best of other adventure games like uncharted or tomb raider, all that added to the great atmosphere achieved make this an outstanding game.     Beautiful graphics, fun parrydodge combat system (similar to DS and sikiro). I liked the puzzles, some of them reminded of dead space, tomb raider. Fallen Order got a lot of from other games and it is well executed. Certainly there are some things that are stupid.     Certainly there are some things that are stupid. I got no idea why the game sends me to (for example) Dathamir and I can't finish the place because I ain't got the certain skill. Yeah, I got the double-edge saber for half-finishing the planet, but I felt stupid.
    Some of check point are placed in a very idiotic way, for example, you meditate and you go to a big elevator which descends like 2 minutes and then u got a little fight where you can die and after that there is a jumping challenge -- and if you die you have to use this slow elevator again.

    But the game is still great, I enjoy almost every moment of it.    … Expand

    Man where do I start. I was very very skeptical purchasing this game because it was published by EA. The only reason I got it is because it was created by the studio Respawn who have made games like Apex legends and Titan fall. I was enticed by the promise of no in game purchases, DLC, or season passes. I was ready to be let down again and have my dreams crushed like EA always does but manMan where do I start. This game is absolutely flawless! Everything from the fighting, the leveling system, the puzzle solving, and the story telling is exceptional. I have been having so much fun for the first time with a Star Wars game and I'm so happy I gave Respawn and EA the benefit of the doubt and supported this game. Hopefully they see the response they receive from users who support no In-game purchases,DLC, or season passes. Games like this should be given higher reviews solely because of this fact!

    If you're on the edge and questioning whether or not you should get it this might help. It's a single player game focused heavily on story telling, the fighting style is not stamina based, but deflecting blasts/attacks drains stamina. The game in a way is souls like in the sense that you get to Meditate (bonfire) and when you rest all enemies respawn while you get your health and stim packs (estus flasks) back. Aside from that watching game-play videos will help you decide whether or not this game is for you. As for me I'm 100% pleased with this purchase and wish to support the narrative of no in game purchases or season passes!    … Expand

    I am really not a fan of star wars franchise, but this game is quite a fun one!
    People complaining about difficulty are just need to git good... (i play on the one bellow hardest... hardest is too punishing for relaxed gameplay).
    Graphics, animations are solid (not flawless). Gameplay is super fun (both combat and platforming especially). Performance is quite good on my PC (1400p i get    I am really not a fan of star wars franchise, but this game is quite a fun one!

    One of the best single player games in a log time. Respawn did a great job. Great story that is in line with the SW movies and tv shows. A lot of problem solving and running around. Wish there was more fighting but even with that. I enjoyed it so much.

    This was a very good adventure, rpg game. Nowadays we couldn't find a good star wars story game, now we got it. I thank the game creators for this pleasent experience. The game is actually a bit difficult on hard mode, but it worts the pain. You will be very happy when you finally kill a boss. The gameplay is similar, to the dark souls games. You can end the game in 20-25 hours. IThis was a very good adventure, rpg game. Nowadays we couldn't find a good star wars story game, now we got it.     Fallen order doesn't do anything that's new per se. But what it does do it executes exceptionally well. The fighting style that borrows heavily from the souls games are well executed and really enjoyable. The puzzle aspects remind me so much of the tomb puzzles from the Tomb Raider series. And the traversal mechanics is a mix of both tomb raider and uncharted. All this paired with a decentFallen order doesn't do anything that's new per se. But what it does do it executes exceptionally well. The fighting style that borrows heavily from the souls games are well executed and really enjoyable. The puzzle aspects remind me so much of the tomb puzzles from the Tomb Raider series. And the traversal mechanics is a mix of both tomb raider and uncharted. All this paired with a decent story that picks up and really ends on a high note and a solid skilltree that makes your character actually able to do new moves is great. Took me around 17,5 hours to play through and i truly enjoyed those hours as well! Can't wait for a sequel to this one, all in all i'd give it a solid 8.9/10. One of the better games iv'e played in recent years and the best of 2019 for me personally.… Expand

Encounters are spaced between the exploration of the beautifulscenery, and the hunt for cosmetics or upgrades. The world may be linear but it expands and expands and it gives you plenty of routes to take, and in some cases more than one can get you to where you want to go.     This is a really good game. There are some problems, but this is the best that has been done on the SW franchise in the last 10 years for sure (including movies and cartoons)

    If you are searching a good Star Wars game, you'll find it with this one. Respawn did a great job finishing this game, because in my experience i didn't have noticed any kind of bug or glitch. What I found was a great Star wars experience with such a good combat style and a good storyline.
    Maybe the one thing i didn't like pretty much was the amount of "parkour" or platform style which    If you are searching a good Star Wars game, you'll find it with this one.     This is the best SW game I have played since Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2, really. Game is gorgeous, really fits well into the SW universe, combat mechanics are on point (playing on "Jedi Master" difficulty is a real challenge, nerve-wracking in some bosses but a ton of fun) and there is a pretty decent amount of variety (customization, enemies and planets-wise).

    The only con in my opinion    This is the best SW game I have played since Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2, really. Game is gorgeous, really fits well into the SW universe, combat mechanics are on point (playing on "Jedi Master" difficulty is a real challenge, nerve-wracking in some bosses but a ton of fun) and there is a pretty decent amount of variety (customization, enemies and planets-wise).

Боёвка чем-то напоминает облегчённую форму секиро, менее динамично правда, но более зрелищно. А вот приёмы подвязаные на Силу нереально доставили, за возможность притянуть врага и потом скинуть его в пропость разрабам отдельный плюс в карму.     La jugabilidad de jedi fallen order es correcta movimientos precisos son necesarios para poder sortear los niveles y bosses, cuentas con barra de fuerza y bloqueo que se consumen en combate. Cuando no combates es un plataformeo tipo uncharted metroid prime.
    Rejugabilidad
    El juego tiene gran rejugabilidad para desbloquear 100% de ítems y skins. Los enemigos van reapareciendo.
    Diversión
    El juego es divertido puede llegar a ser frustrante en algún momento un boss demasiado difícil pero es perfectamente posible de hacer siempre podras evitarlo o descubrir la dinámica para superarlo.

    La dificultad es elegible en 4 niveles en los niveles 2,3 y 4 la dificultad es alta a muy alta y en el primer nivel la dificultad es sencilla pero igualmente puedes morir.

    No se conocen masivamente y los que existen se fueron corrigiendo yo no me encontré con ninguno en particular.

Приятная графика, хоть и не самый мной любимый движок анрил, понятная боевая система, занимательные уровни. Играется не скучно, затягивает и самое главное, у нас есть джедай со световым мечом, сила и прочие джедайские штучки дрючки. К сожаление способностей силы мало, меньше чем в прошлыхRespawn Entertainment не делают плохих игр и Jedi Fallen Order стал очередным этому подтверждением. Приятная графика, хоть и не самый мной любимый движок анрил, понятная боевая система, занимательные уровни. Играется не скучно, затягивает и самое главное, у нас есть джедай со световым мечом, сила и прочие джедайские штучки дрючки. К сожаление способностей силы мало, меньше чем в прошлых играх этой вселенной, но старт отличный, мы готовы платить за крутые синглы без доната и мультиплеера. EA продолжайте в том же духе.… Expand

    good job EA good job and as soul game type player I like this game playing at Jedi grand master mode
    the story is pretty fine where story takes after star wars episode 3 and bla bla bla...
    well the gameplay for soul type style feels like sekiro & bloodborne in this game and sad for those who didn't experience/play any soul games it will be hard for them to play this game I hope they    good job EA good job and as soul game type player I like this game playing at Jedi grand master mode

    It is a game that brought a lot of nostalgia from the Activision days and I cannot say how much surprised I am with it...     Also, forgot to mention the mod support... Thanks to the modder community, I can make Cal a different character, playing as a Kel Dor... :D
    Hopefully, the sequel, if it happens, lets us create our own character...

I picked it up shortly after release however, having read some very positive praise from industry outlets and reviewers on YouTube.

    Boy, was I not disappointed, I'll be doing my best to avoid spoilers in this review, but apologies if I miss anything.

    You play as Cal, a former Jedi Padawan who survived the Jedi Purge following Order 66. You've spent your youth hiding on the planet of Bracca, scrapping the former Republic ships marking the end of an era. You've spent these countless years hiding from the Empire, blending in with the masses until one unfortunate event reveals your precense, forcing you to flee for your life. It's from here you meet your would-be motly crew of adventurers, looking to unlock the mysteries of a structure discovered by an old Jedi Master in an effort to hold the line and restore the Jedi Order.

    It's a linier story, although you have the ability to travel between different planets at will. Faithful to the metroidvania style, you backtrack through areas you've previously cleared, able to unlock new shortcuts and new areas of the map with new powers that you've accumulated throughout your travels. This may not be to everyones taste, however I've always enjoyed this style of game, having played the recent Bloodstaind: Ritual of The Night to death. It's satisfying noting something and coming back to it later to access hidden areas and offer a degree of replayability to a single map, while frequently rewarding you for your efforts by providing new customisation options such as skins for Cal, your droid compansion BD-1, your ship and even lightsaber parts. I should note that there's no fast travel in the game either, you'll have to work for your progress making the shortcuts you unlock as you explore a godsend and really rewarding you for going off the beaten path and exploring the wider map.

    I really enjoyed the story, travelling between some iconic locations and exploring lost tombs. It in some ways reminded me of the episodes in Star Wars: Rebels when Ezra explores the Jedi Temple to gain new understanding of the Force and the wider universe. It's refreshing with some decent puzzles and amazing areas to explore, instead of pure combat like in the Force Unleashed. The ending in particular was incredible, with some excellent cinematic moments which left me speachless after watching it.

    Combat is excellent, being one of the most enjoyable renditions of lightsaber combat I've ever seen in a Star Wars game. It is however not without its issues. Against a couple targets you can parry and dodge relatively well. In some parts of the game however, you'll be swarmed by several enemies and it's here that things don't do so well. You'll attempt to roll out the way or use an ability only to get staggered by repeated attacks, which can really ruin the flow of combat. Thankfully, as you learn the various enemy types you can anticipate these swarm attacks and take action early to prevent being overwhelmed. On the highest difficulty the game rewards patience and calculated approaches to each situation, prioritising specific enemies first as you attempt to control the battle. The comparisson to Dark Souls is somewhat valid, although many would consider it a 'Souls Lite' experience.

    Progression is tied to Cals perk tree allowing you to increase your base HP or Force metre levels, healing charges as well as new abilities buffing your force powers or lightsaber techniques. If you die, you lose your current progress to the next perk point, spawning at the last 'meditation' point you saved at. You can however go back to where you died, and simply by hitting the enemy that killed you once regain that lost progress. This way death has a very real impact on progression, but likewise rewarding those who persevere and press on. By the end of the story, you'll feel much more powerful and make the transition from lost Padawan to a fully fledged Jedi Knight.

    I'm actually coming towards the end of my second playthrough, this time on Jedi Grand Master difficuty which is very challenging, but not unfair. Jedi: Fallen Order personally sets a new standard of what we should expect from a Star Wars game, following years of disappointment it's incredibly refreshing to play a Star Wars game that does what it says on the tin, a complete story, no DLC, no microtransactions anywhere to be seen.

    If you're a fan of the metroidvania games, or just a Star Wars fan I HIGHLY encourage you to pick this one up. A really excellent game that will hopefully show EA that this is the way forward for future titles    … Expand

    Finally a SINGLE PLAYER Star Wars game! Finally!!!! The SWJ: Fallen Order not perfect but a very, very good game. Only cons: too much jumping and platforming. Pros: Grapihc, sounds, voiceacting, the fight system is good, level desing, the story.

    The best star wars or not the best space sci-fi adventure game that I’ve ever played! The in game scenery is gorgeous and very detailed and well thought out. Gameplay in particular combat feels very engaging and addicting. Respawn has done a very good job in saving EA’s ass. So wait not more, get the game right away.

Ignore the hate that it seems to be getting, as much as you should ignore the over the top praise. This game deserves support if only to show the suits running gaming into the ground that this is what we really want.

    This is by far one of the best single player games I've played in years and I don't even like the Star Wars environment. But this game just takes the best from Tomb Raider, puts some Assassins Creed Odiseey combat in and brings a beautiful story on top of it.

I found the first planet, Bogano, a bit frustrating to navigate - but once you start to pick up more force powers and lightsaber skills on Zeffo, things get better rapidly. I have to say the art on Dathomir is absolutely mind blowing, and overall the game looks breathtaking, The fact that all loot is cosmetic (with the exception of max life and force upgrades) is quite infuriating - would be great to add effects to the lightsaber. I don’t know how restrictive the Disney license is (guessing you can’t break from canon and make lightsabers, say, able to set people on fire) but there is definitely room for deeper character and equipment development to bring to life the whole idea of developing into a fully fledged Jedi. The cosmetics are cool - but it’s hard to get excited about cosmetics. Increased damage, speed or defense would be good, bonuses against certain types of enemy - that would all have added a lot to the game.

    With new abilities you become able to traverse more types of obstacle - so there is a lot of backtracking. Again - this would be much more incentivised if there was loot worth finding. But it’s still fun. I would have loved to have been able to tinker with the lightsaber more, take it apart, add new crystals or augments - a crafting element that made lightsaber changes more tactile would have been great fun - I think anyone playing Star Wars games finds lightsabers and how they’re put together a major attraction - I have a horrible feeling that this game will be over before it really gets going - I’m on the 4th of 6 planets after 10 hours playing - there’s a good chance that there’s not much game for £55. Still, I’m enjoying it. Update: I’ve now finished the game - it was shorter than expected. But it is such a good story with such fun lightsaber duels that it’s worth it. I hope they make a sequel and it’s about twice the length, with significantly more developed loot mechanics and equipment/character development, more lightsaber duels and interesting bosses - this is definitely a great game, but it feels like they could have made it much deeper -    … Expand

    But Jedi Fallen Order ticks all the right boxes to satisfy a fan of KOTOR, Jedi Outcast/Academy, The Prequels and the Originals. Awesome characters like KOTOR. Awesome combat like Jedi Outcast. Awesome Star Wars soundtrack and feel like the movies.

    Customizing my lightsaber is fun, and I've done the Savi's Workshop in Anaheim's Disneyland Galaxy's Edge, so it's feels like a continuation for me.

    When I thought the game was done introducing game changing mechanics, it threw more at me. I tried to keep myself as spoiler free as possible, but there are way too many spoilers on Youtube thumbnails at the moment. That being said, the game still surprised me with new force powers, new bosses and cinematics that weren't in any promotional material.

    My game of the year for 2019 hands down.

    24 Hours in, finished the story, completion around 95%. Incredible, the ending was satisfying and not predictable for me. I was expecting to be slightly disappointed, but it ended a blast!     A very satisfying fusion of Sekiro and Tomb Raider with lightsabers. The story is very good within the Star Wars canon. I feel it's EA's best effort in years, and the best Star Wars game since KOTOR 2 or Jedi Academy.

    Managed to complete the game after just shy of 18 hours and I can say without a doubt that this is an amazing game. I enjoyed every bit of it (Even me being bad and dying 20 times to the same enemy), combat is fun, the story is engaging, exploration is interesting and the graphics are breathtaking.
    Highly Recommended.

    Loving this game, taking me back to that old gaming experience where story and game play experience merge beautifully. Minor glitches but nothing that takes away from the enjoyment of the game. If EA keeps this up they can redeem themselves, no pay to play. Not everything is about multiplayer. God of War proved this point. **Note to EA** Learn from this !!!

If you are a Star Wars fan, you will be more then pleased with the inclusion of references and memories to popular events and characters, as well as fantastic original characters whom are very welcome into the SW universe with top notch acting and fleshed out stories.

    Overall a very solid effort, and while the combat system and early map progression can leave a lot to be desired, I think the redeeming factors are enough to keep this game very enjoyable.    … Expand

I would also note that the default control scheme is a little wonky. I play on pc with an xbone controller. I would suggest changing dodge/drop down to LB, and block to LT or vice versa.     Next order of business is the performance. I have played the entirety of the game twice through. Once on Master, then on Grandmaster. I have experience no problems whatsoever with all my settings set to epic. If you are on console, apparently its bad, I dunno. But PC this is a great game.

    When a game is compared to many great titles such as Tomb Raider, God of War, Uncharted, and Zelda the bar for one's expectation is set high. While its true Respawn incorporated many elements from these games into their version of star wars, none of it felt really out of place.

    I truly despise the decisions of those at the top of EA. Respawn however, has never really been a let down. Judging the game (art) as separate from the publisher or even the developer (artist) is becoming increasingly important in today's media journalism which favors subversive, angry and nihilistic bias. The game itself is great and fun and I cannot see any minor setbacks in terms of quality due to some hiccups in performance. If that's a deal-breaker for you, maybe wait awhile for patches to fix these things and smooth them out.

    The story is great, albeit star wars predictable, but the stakes feel legitimate. A padawan and crew all learning how to heal and grow while facing down the threat of an empire is compelling. Visiting old and new locations through a different perspective was always fresh and exciting.

    If you're ever on the fence and can't decide whether or not the game is worth owning, and reviews feel biased (mine included) you can always try the game yourself, for a full month, for about 15$ through origin premier. That's basically a matinee and combo popcorn/drink.

    In conclusion, this is a star wars game in the end. If you like the franchise, this is a good product for you that's entertaining and isn't sullied by monetization. You get what you pay for. If you a using this game as a way to get into the franchise, well, where have you been? And, this is not a good launching point. The game will challenge you if you let it. If you are experiencing performance issues, maybe try lowering the settings.

    I love this game so its a 10, but its a product of man, there's always room to improve, which it will over time. That's what is so great about having the internet, games come out sooner but not as polished and more people give feedback to improve the game with the general public in mind. Anyways, if you've read this far, you must not be a millennial, either that or you have a questionable obsession with reading!    … Expand

    Absolute Masterpiece of a game, haven't seen such a good game in years. The story is well written, characters have depth, gameplay is very good and graphics are amazing. I even called in sick from work to play the game.
    Tge price tag of 60€ is a bargain, shoul be way more expensive.

    Still cant believe EA pulled off a great single player game with no micro-transactions. Loot boxes are useless though, but its really a very good game. It takes around 20 hours to complete it with most of the places explored and it has tons of potential for sequels. They can even make a whole saga out of this i they want to.

    The only reason this game got a 9 and not a 10 its because i have never seen loot boxes more useless than these ones. You literally got just different colors of the same thing which is also awful. It takes away all the exciting of discovering all the loot boxes, because its just the same thing but different color. The only thing that changes is that for your sword you can find different parts so you can customize it as you want, but its something that you honestly don't even look at.

    I love the direction that Respawn took with this particular game - huge breath of fresh air for the Jedi-themed games. Even suitable for those who enjoy Action-Adventure titles with large areas to explore through multiple approaches.

    If you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan, an average, or even new to Star Wars - get this game. Or even if you’re not a Star Wars fan - it’s a great adventure    I love the direction that Respawn took with this particular game - huge breath of fresh air for the Jedi-themed games. Even suitable for those who enjoy Action-Adventure titles with large areas to explore through multiple approaches.

    If you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan, an average, or even new to Star Wars - get this game. Or even if you’re not a Star Wars fan - it’s a great adventure with challenging combat scenarios and puzzles. The game is a little buggy which is expected, as it is running on a high-end graphics engine and is extremely detailed. The only main thing that I don’t partially like is that there isn’t fast travel points, but at the same time, not having fast travel points makes the overall feel of the game more immersive.

    One aspect worth mentioning is that Dathomir is not how we saw it in the clone wars and that’s what I was expecting (fairly expected as The Clone Wars is Cannon to the series). Although the design is off, it is still fun to play through, it just would had been nicer to explore around authentic ruins; explore the night sister massacre and witness force visions and echoes of the massacre to expand what we didn’t see in the Television series.

    The storyline is fantastic as it is cinematic and will leave so much to be done outside of the game (paralleling the same feeling I have about the Mandalorian and it's impact upon the future of Star Wars films). It really does show you the path of the Jedi and helps you understand and feel more deeply connected to these characters that we love - such as Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s just a great game it’s put my faith back in Star Wars games from EA if they can continue down this track.

    It offers great combat and gameplay systems, spanning multiple open worlds to explore, gameplay mechanics crossing between the likes of Zelda, Tomb Raider, Ico, challenging combat scenarios similar to Dark Souls and Bloodborne, as well as lightsaber fights similar to the beloved Jedi Knight series. BD-1 Is a very cute droid companion and is a highlight of the story; I wish we had them in real life [it’s like having a cat in the game]. This game is a must buy for any Star Wars fan. I have not yet completed the story as I keep getting sidetracked with exploration, but it’s very fun.

    While I do not like the idea of DLCs for most EA Games because they seem to be original content cut in order to make extra money, but this game feels complete so I would very much like to see them release more planets and stories as DLC.

    Overall this game is brilliant. A Solid 8/10,

    The best Star Wars video game experience I've had since EA has taken the helm. A well thought-out combination of Uncharted, and Souls, that also pulls from the best aspects of Metroid, and even Kingdom Hearts. While some characters seem a tad more Disney than Star Wars, the plot itself is engaging from start to finish. It fits in so perfectly on the time period it presents, and gives anThe best Star Wars video game experience I've had since EA has taken the helm. A well thought-out combination of Uncharted, and Souls, that also pulls from the best aspects of Metroid, and even Kingdom Hearts. While some characters seem a tad more Disney than Star Wars, the plot itself is engaging from start to finish. It fits in so perfectly on the time period it presents, and gives an interesting point of view on the Jedi Purge. The combat is satisfying to master, and you feel Cal grow exponentially, as you become better as a player. I played on the second highest difficulty, and only had a handful of fights that I found myself repeating more than 3 or 4 times. The customization options are plentiful, and found throughout the world. There are two main things that are keeping me from giving this game a 10:
    - Performance issues on PC. I have a decent PC, and get similar FPS on the highest setting, as I do on medium. There are some lag spikes and popping. It never got to a ridiculous point, but it was frustrating.
    - Customization is something that I love about this game, but I wish there were more unique player customization options. You have different poncho colors, but I was really hoping to unlock a few more over the top outfits, like the Force Unleashed, or disguises, since they're so common in Star Wars. I was a little disappointed not to find anything like that.
    - No New Game+ or Extra Planets/Hidden Bosses. Kind of a nitpick. I want to 100% all of the planets, but apart from that, I don't have any other challenging boss fights. Some DLC stories would make me a happy camper, especially if by some miracle we can play as another character using this engine.

    A truly inspired metroidvania, with a souls like combat system. Don’t be too thrown off, while the combat is mildly souls like, it’s significantly easier and far less grounded. New moves are handed out evenly to keep combat fresh, and more importantly than any other point; this game is a reminder that Star Wars stories can be excellent. Nuance between the light and the dark, and anA truly inspired metroidvania, with a souls like combat system. Don’t be too thrown off, while the combat is mildly souls like, it’s significantly easier and far less grounded. New moves are handed out evenly to keep combat fresh, and more importantly than any other point; this game is a reminder that Star Wars stories can be excellent. Nuance between the light and the dark, and an authentic star wars ambiance alla classic Star Wars music create a nostalgic yet original masterpiece plagued only by some remaining bugs and room for refinement and evolution of the combat system.     The combat here is quite solid , it reminded me of a slower paced Sekiro but with its own twist. The Force powers at first seem pretty simple but as you play the game you find all sorts of creative ways to use your powers. There is also some uncharted style platforming here as well which didn't really impress me too much but it does fit the star wars theme, especially some of the cooler action sequences. I played through the game on the second hardest difficulty which gave a decent challenge at the start and by the end i really felt like i had earned that Jedi master title. The level design could use some work, however the levels still fold in on themselves with cool shortcuts and secrets to find. The graphics where quite good , the soundtrack and sound effects where all very star wars , but i did get some frame rate drops during some more demanding moments. The story here i would say got the job done , I found myself pushing forward at points just to find out what happens next but in the end i was left with a feeling of wanting more.

    All in all i think its safe to say we have been given a solid star wars game with weighty combat, that ideal star wars aesthetic, and a fairly decent story even though i would have liked a little longer of a game for full price. I give it a solid 8/10.    … Expand

    Seems like EA hit the spot this time. This is a great game and combat feels really good.
    One thing that I would change is the lack of side quests and explorabe places in the game.

    Star Wars JFO is one of the best Star Wars games I've played in a decade ! Interesting story, deep and complex set of characters (minor as much as main characters alike), and rich in Star Wars knowledge and nods from other contents (comic books, movies, TV series).
    In details, the story builds from a well built introduction to what generates the game plot - escaping the Empire's    Star Wars JFO is one of the best Star Wars games I've played in a decade ! Interesting story, deep and complex set of characters (minor as much as main characters alike), and rich in Star Wars knowledge and nods from other contents (comic books, movies, TV series).
    In details, the story builds from a well built introduction to what generates the game plot - escaping the Empire's Inquisitors. It lacked of pace during the first third of the game, but got much more interesting as soon as we uncover plot twists during our tomb raiding on Zeffo. At this point, the game got much faster, enemy packs got harder to take down, and uncanny/unexpected events happened which took us away from our main path. The game's ending was quite predictable, if you follow Cal's conversations with the other members of his crew (notably the last one to join the gang), but the tension reaches its highest point ! And although people might think Cal is not as complex of a character as other members of his team, I thought quite the opposite !
    On the gameplay perspective, as I have never played a Dark Souls game in my life, I did not have a base to compare it with, so I lived it as a brand new game experience ! The enemy respawn annoyed me at first, but I got over it really quickly. The progression tree was well balanced and I could update it on a regular basis throughout the game. The saber combat felt immersive and much more complex once you've met up with Purge troopers and mini bosses (#OggdoBoggdo). The exploration is always interesting, as you're always hinted at using specific Force powers to access specific zones - all of it complemented by back stories from Force echos, which I thought was a neat touch !
    In conclusion, if you are fans of single player experiences, this game is a must play. It is not the best entry point, if you are new to Star Wars (the best would be the movies of course), but it's a nice entry point to the canon extended universe ! Besides the few game freezes I had (3 in total, including one where I had to restart the game), the story is compelling and strong, and the gameplay is a brand new experience for Star Wars gamers !

    This game ticks all the boxes with balanced challenging fun combat, good graphics and an amazing story. This game stays true to Star Wars and is 100% worth it.

    В общем, игра классная. Сюжет нормальный, никаких дыр в нём нет и следить за происходящим достаточно интересно. Боёвка даёт почувствовать себя джедаем, хоть и ограничениями и условностями. Боссов достаточно как и локаций, да, мы возвращаемся на старые планеты, однако всегда находим что то новое    Являюсь фанатом зв. Не диким, просто нравится эта вселенная, но не баттлфронт и новая трилогия.
    В общем, игра классная. Сюжет нормальный, никаких дыр в нём нет и следить за происходящим достаточно интересно. Боёвка даёт почувствовать себя джедаем, хоть и ограничениями и условностями. Извиняюсь, что так плохо и вразброс говорю о аспектах игры, пишу первый раз. Противники не надоедают на сложностях ниже самой высокой, там уже секиро начинается, а я не хочу вспоминать те мучения снова. Секиро прошёл, если что. Крч, боёвка на 8, дизайн и детализация на 9, сюжет на 8, техническая реализация на 9. Ниже 9 в целом не хочу ставить, считаю это достойной оценкой для игры подобного качества про зв.     It's miracle that EA released a very good Star Wars game. Well, we should thank Respawn Entertainment for this. Respawn has made Titanfall 1 and 2. Yeah, overall, good game. 8/10

    This is the best Star Wars game ever made. Thank god that Respawn made this game and EA didn't destroy this game like all the other games they have destroyed.
