    So much momories here. I'd give this a 10 if it wasn't for the technical flaws here and there. I'm so happy that I've still got this game. The music is epic and the races are very tough. I'll never forget this game

    I've spent many hours playing this game with my brother. One of the best games of my childhood.

    Anyone remembering the abyss? It was totally broken. Still managed to beat this nightmare-track after a few weeks back then. Beautiful game and even more beautiful memories.

    Incredibly well polished and fast paced game. Lots of maps and characters to choose. I love the stats and upgrades system. My only problem with it is that the AI's are way too easy to beat. The skill ceiling for the game is pretty high though, so it's still gratifying trying to go as fast as possible.

    I remember to have a lot of fun with that game, when it was released on Dreamcast, so I was looking forward to try it with the GoG Version. But the controlling is so bad, that I stopped that game only after few minutes. I cant remember if the controlling was so slow in the Dreamcast version also. But I read, that this game is very hard in the end, so I didnt want to frustrate more. ThereI remember to have a lot of fun with that game, when it was released on Dreamcast, so I was looking forward to try it with the GoG Version. But the controlling is so bad, that I stopped that game only after few minutes. I cant remember if the controlling was so slow in the Dreamcast version also. But I read, that this game is very hard in the end, so I didnt want to frustrate more. There are better games outside. Or maybe this game needs a great remake with newest graphic engine and some new ideas. I read that there is a Unreal Engine 4 version out there, but my laptop is too old to play that.… Expand

    Ótimo jogo, nostalgia total!!

    RECOMENDO bastante para quem é fã da série e/ou quem jogou este clássico no N64/Dreamcast.

    Extremely fun and fast paced. Gets a little repetitive after a while, but a wide variety of upgrades makes up for it. You'll still want to download it every one in a while.

    A classic racer game that still holds up after 20+ years.
    Sure, the visuals are pretty dated, which is to be expected, and the game itself is really easy if you're not reckless.
    But other than that, it's a good quality game for its time, especially considering that it's a movie tie-in. It's chock-full of atmosphere and flair, especially the stages, which are all visually interesting and    A classic racer game that still holds up after 20+ years.
    Sure, the visuals are pretty dated, which is to be expected, and the game itself is really easy if you're not reckless.
    But other than that, it's a good quality game for its time, especially considering that it's a movie tie-in.
    It's chock-full of atmosphere and flair, especially the stages, which are all visually interesting and unique to each other. It has many at the time rarely seen mechanics, like a degradable engine which can get damaged from reckless driving or blow up from overheating, shops with many upgrades to your vehicles, and many colorful characters, each with its own statistics, instead of being just a different skin.
    Also, you can really feel the high-speed you are driving with here, especially if you decide to play in a first-person view.
    Overall, it's a really fun game (even for someone like me, who usually doesn't enjoy racing games.) Though, I probably wouldn't recommend it to most people. Consider buying it if you feel nostalgic for the title, are a dedicated Star Wars fan, or if you want to experience a part of gaming history.

    This game was my childhood, and the best damn thing to come from Episode I. This is the game which got me into the arcade racing genre and the PC version is by far the definitive version!

    A truly brilliant classic from an era where the biggest focus was placed not on visuals, but on gameplay physics, which is nailed in this game like in few others.     I have to say that my level of nostalgia with this release is very restricted compared to other titles in the franchise, and is that I enjoyed this game a short afternoon during my childhood, and I recognize, therefore, that I see more shortcomings than virtues at first glance, but, as always, I will try to be as impartial as possible.

    This short racing title is set in the universe of Star Wars, and draws on this inspiration for its unique turbo mechanics, which while it may seem rudimentary is very satisfying when masterfully controlled.

    Another interesting mechanics is the junkyard and improvements, as I find it interesting that the level of performance is dependent on the state of the parts, although I don't agree with the model of wear and tear offered, as it feels erratic and random.

    The graphics are grotesque, I know that a remaster has been made or is being made, and I love the idea, because this game can really be very immersive, and it is precisely about this topic that I would like to talk about, immersion.

    I found the game a bit easy, in very few races I didn't get first place at the first attempt, but here's the interesting thing, I've never played such a satisfying and immersive racing game when at maximum speed, you complete the circuit in an unpolluted way, for me, a very unique experience.    … Expand

    I have not found the section of this game for nintendo 64 but definitely one of the best speed games of the time with f-zero.

    + controlling the podracer aged well
    + inventive in-race power management

    Cons:
    - graphics aged poorly
    - some tracks are impossible hard

    Un videojuego que otorgaba grandes horas de diversión, los gráficos para la época eran impresionantes, los sonidos de los pod de igual manera soprendian, un trabajo muy bien realizado pese al genero y que puso en alto a los títulos de Star Wars.

    Excellent game and infinitely better than the movie it is based on in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Still is fun and great to play almost a quarter century later.
