Apr 11, 2025It’s not even like Jedi Power Battles is the most beloved game from its era. Why release it in this state, and an even better question is, why release it at all? If there were at least new graphics, or if they bundled the GameBoy version as a bonus extra, I could at least rate it a little higher, but no. This is not the droid that anyone is looking for.

Mar 21, 2025Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is an old game for fans, slightly improved on the occasion of its release on modern platforms. But even fans will need a certain amount of patience and understanding to make it through to the finale.

Mar 7, 2025Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles didn’t need a remaster, but it did deserve preservation. Unfortunately, aside from slightly enhanced graphics, little has changed or improved. The controls feel jankier than ever, and the same frustrations from years ago remain intact. That said, it might still shine as a co-op drinking game, taking a shot every time you're knocked down by a blaster shot. Or maybe not, someone could get poisoned.
