    SO you have us pay to play then my ship isn't showing up! This is the third time I have tried to play this game with friends and I got to the ship deck to call my ship AND IT'S NOT THERE. why make someone pay to play, give them a ship, only to not give it to the player. If I have to look forward to this every time I want to play this then I'm going to not play it at all. it's so pointlessSO you have us pay to play then my ship isn't showing up!     The creator of this game should face criminal charges for mismanagement and fraud (hired his wife, hide fact that she is his wife, wife used company's office and workers to further her "movie career" with husband's approval).

    its barely a game, tried it for free cant think about how sad it is to buy it.
    it runs poorly on my very high end pc and bugs and glitches appear every couple of minutes
    also calling it alpha is no excuse for the teams bad coding knowledge

    Tried Star Citizen but it is broken, then tried Elite Dangerous to fill the spacesim crave, never looked back.

    An over 10 year old game with exactly that old graphics, sluggish and messy controls by foot, and arcade-ish mouse controls in space, this is a disgrace for all the good ones Mr. Roberts created decades ago. Ein weiterer Showstopper nach Fertigstellung wird auch die Frage nach den laufenden Kosten für dieses Monster sein.

    Meine aktuelle Erfahrung beim erneuten Test ist, dass diese angeblich so tolle Software nicht einmal die Möglichkeit bietet, in den Optionen den jeweiligen Ausgabebildschirm festzulegen. Da fragt man sich unweigerlich: „Was haben die 10 Jahre lang gemacht!“

After spending years and thousand of dollars (Concierge access) I am firmly convinced this is an elaborate scam. Some ships are somewhat flyable, some missions are doable, but there is no game.     What we have currently is a Star Citizen "Alpha 3.17.4". That's right, 10 years and it is still in Alpha. The last time I played this hot trash, my $90 fighter and 4-5 other fighters were trying to take down a single premium several hundred dollar alien craft in PVP for nearly 30 minutes, and it repeatedly smoked all of us, because in its current state the game is pay to play.

    I am honestly so butt hurt about this. I feel like I was robbed by the developer, and I will never support any game Chris peddles in the future. Maybe in my death bed in 60 years I will finally see it enter Beta.    … Expand

    I really really really wish I had come here before spending $60.00+ on a FF alpha level game. There is no game here. One small area to explore. The missions or jobs or what ever they want to call it do not work 99% of the time. You have to spend huge amounts of money to have what you think you need.     Got into the game on the 3.17 release. Paid $75 USD on a starter ship then spent a little over 2 months playing and GRINDING LIKE HELL to buy bigger/better ships to explore other play styles. Now with 3.17.2 coming down the pipes, the company is saying that there will be a database wipe and ALL IN-GAME MONEY AND ITEMS WILL BE LOST. But if you paid real money for something, oh then that'sGot into the game on the 3.17 release.     The game is still in early Alpha development and as such should not be rated as a finished product. However, it has a lot to show for it despite being an Alpha, as some its' features and scope are unrivaled. I suggest you do a YouTube search and watch people play the game, or better yet, try it during a free-fly week which happen throughout the year.

    Bought in back in 2013 with an "Admiral's Package" (Constellation and a bunch of extras). I have to say the development has been an utter disaster. 9 years in and bugs still kill me frequently, frame rate is crap, code optimization is non-existent, and they still have no server meshing, only 50 players per server, graphics falling below industry standard. Do not recommend.

After a decade it's just a disaster what is happening and is setting a terrible precedent for the future of funding tech demos which will promise you anything you can dream of and deliver essentially nothing. Unfortunately for many scams when one person stands up from the table two more people are willing to sit down.

    Currently most of funds and workforce working on Squadron 42, even less work on Star Citizen, at least 2 years for SQ42 then another 4 to 10 years for Star Citizen.

    Game that raised 500 million dollars and has been in development for over 10 years. Constantly falling through floors, dying in the middle of my ship for no reason, exploding in high atmosphere for no reason, and so many more game breaking bugs utterly ruin this experience.

    Not to mention any of the shady practices of the developers.
