    Wow this game is crazy with all the explosion crashing buildings changing roads never seen something like this. Also the concept car are very well made not be suppressed if some of them can become real cars.
    This how games supposed to be with fun crazy imagination always make you smile. Is so unrated and is better than burnout, to bad they didn't make a sequel.

    This is a really, really underrated game. I truly can't explain why this hasn't achieved the same success of the Burnout games, my guess is because of Disney's bad merchandising. The car crashes are not so spectacular, but the scenario destruction is very impressive, and is really the catch of the game.     If you love destruction, cinematic action, and cars, this will definitely be the race for you. You'll be sucked in, and when the joy ride is over, you'll want more of it. I keep wanting a sequel of this game every dang day!

    One of the best racing games that I've played. At least, the most funny and enjoyable game. All explosions and changing roads that can switch the racing result at the last second are a great experience. If you didn't like this game, you played it wrong =P

    This is a thrilling and action-packed game! All the different game modes are great and add variety. Graphics look great, especially the explosions (which are plentiful!). Unfortunately the only real progression in this game is unlocking new cars and tracks, etc., no real customization of cars, which isn't actually a big deal. It's also pretty hard to find a multiplayer match, which is aThis is a thrilling and action-packed game! All the different game modes are great and add variety. Graphics look great, especially the explosions (which are plentiful!). Unfortunately the only real progression in this game is unlocking new cars and tracks, etc., no real customization of cars, which isn't actually a big deal.     Fast, action packed, and exciting like an Arnie movie. Graphics and sound are great. Gameplay is good but the only annoyance was the way the cars lock into an artificial power slide around corners.

    This game is really nice with its crazyness, building falling right and left and exploding bridges. Drive and charming effects!
    The only bad thing is boredom, which comes after playing it for more then 6-8 hours, but you some I get bored myself in all (practically) driving games, because I don't feel like pressing the forward button watching my speed.     This game is appealing for the first 3-4 hours, because of it's great visuals, nice music and all the action, but that is all there is to it. There are no tactics in this game, it's oversimplified and boring. The PC version is simply bad. The multiplayer is unbalanced, there are no car classes, so everyone uses the fastest cars. There are no Free DLC cars for the PC. Very high graphicsThis game is appealing for the first 3-4 hours, because of it's great visuals, nice music and all the action, but that is all there is to it.     How can you explain such high scores ? Even before I tried it, I thought that "Split/Second" looked like a pale copy of the "Burnout" games. This first impression kept increasing as I was playing.

    First of all this game is terribly slow: I couldn't find a way to skip constant introduction when I launch it. Races take years to start too. The navigation in the menu is excessively boring.    How can you explain such high scores ? Even before I tried it, I thought that "Split/Second" looked like a pale copy of the "Burnout" games. This first impression kept increasing as I was playing.

    First of all this game is terribly slow: I couldn't find a way to skip constant introduction when I launch it. Races take years to start too. The navigation in the menu is excessively boring. The dynamics and physics of the cars are totally broken: if the collisions are pleasant at first sight, they quickly become laughable or annoying depending on your mood while you try to enjoy the moment you are having. As for the cars, they are just ugly, it clearly looks like an adult tried to make them look amazing for kids, without success. You can choose one vehicle or another by paying attention to the statistics until you realize that they are just a bunch of crap. Because all you have to do from start to finish is not to miss the many QTE's that appear during the races (even if the consequences of you actions are often very random). No strategy or driving skills are required.

    I can't say 'Split/Second' doesn't benefits from a huge 'wow' effect at the beginning. It lloks cool and maps are varied. But you will soon realize that the game is really long and repetitively boring (despite some quite interesting varied race modes). It is just a bunch of explosions appearing here and there. If you want to play something close to this but way better, just try any 'Burnout' game. Because it is an outrageous and unofficial remake of the famous Burnout saga.    … Expand

    One of my favorite racing games of all time! So addictive. I'm surprised that not many games nowadays use this winning formula of triggering explosions to take out the opponents, because it works so well. I played this on pc and you you have to install a patch to run it at 60 fps, other than that, this to me is one of the most fun racing games ever.

    This game is really beautiful and spectacular. Driving is both exciting and interesting.
    Unfortunately there seems to be so much going under the hood (for example the helicopter moving its supposedly locked target at the last minute sometimes) that you don't really have control over the outcome. Crash are in the same state: sometimes they make you go from 2nd place to 8th, sometimes they seem to make you gain places oO (though it may just be that opponents had troubles while you where crashing). All in all it seems pretty random to me. Don't be mistaken, it's still pleasing but you have to relax, enjoy the ride and don't care too much about the outcome.    … Expand

    Amazing game. Best racing game I ever played. Cant believe this game sold so poorly that blacrock studio had to shutdown by Disney.

    Colorful Graphics are just stunning & beautiful, explosions are mind blowing and overwhelming. Sense of speed is best i had ever seen in a racing game.

    Wondering why EA didn't try to make similar games like Roadrash or Split second.

    A lot of fun racing game that it unique and did things right. Good graphics, driving, explosions and fun races over all. I don't have much to say than I wish there will be a 2nd game of this series. Tired of all the bad racing games out there bringing nothing new or creative.

Основная уникальная механика с учинением проблем соперникам и изменением трассы не только органично вплетена в мир игры и геймплей, но и привносит высокий уровень реиграбельности, да и эффектна сама по себе вкупе с замечательным саунд-дизайном и неплохой одиночной компанией.
    Крайне удался и сплит скрин мод - очень весёлый.

    Jako zabavna igra i iskreno kola su gotivna nisu smor ni nista ali tebra... tebra taj ruberbanding, vozimo ista kola lik ide duplo brze od mene na pravini, znaci igras i molis boga da zavrsis prvi pogotovo protiv Vixena i Raptora oni cheatuju jezivo : D Uglv prestao sam da je igram zbog toga i to je to :)

Сама игра хороша, красивая картинка, интересный подбор трасс, несколько режимов и 12 эпизодов по 5 испытаний в каждом, не много, но это скорее плюс, не успевает надоесть или наскучить, теперь о минусах, лок в 30 фпс, к которому привыкаешь и он не так заметен, но лучше бы 60, количество машин хватает, но вот разнообразия и тюнинга нет, сами машины похожи друг на друга и внешне и по характеристикам, нет чувства что едешь на чем нибудь стильном и классном. Из 70 заездов, больше половины происходит по одним и тем же сценарием и трассам, музыки в игре драйвовой нет, управление, а особенно вхождение в поворот, порой просто выводит из себя, такое ощущение будто по маслу катишься и ничего не можешь поделать, и во время столкновений приходится по 5-7 секунд смотреть как твоя тачка разваливается и как тебя все обгоняют. был на 3 позиции, пока заставка кончилась, стал 8. Главная тема игры. насолить противнику и не просто, а как можно красивей, накапливая для этого энергию. Но, то, что меня больше всего поразило в этой игре, так это перестроение трассы и открытия нового маршрута, путем разрушения, это выглядит просто потрясно, нигде такой фишки не наблюдал, а здесь она смотрится как родная. Хотелось бы увидеть вторую часть, хотя там наверное завезут онлайн составляющую, как теперь модно делать...    … Expand

    It's not bad. But it gets boring very fast, because nothing changes. No new mechanics are unveiled. The soundtrack is almost nonexistent and boring. The only thing this game has is the graphics, but that's basically it. You should play a different racing game. This one is not bad, but I won't be coming back to it. Pickens exists.

    Cool game, reminds games from the Burnout series. Beautiful graphics. The main feature of the game allows you to arrange various explosions for cars traveling ahead of you, and it looks very impressive.

    Insanity and speed feeling in this game is outstanding !!!
    One minor flaw is a lack of cars (only a few) and few circuits.
    Shame that they never released a sequel...

    Гонки построенные на голивудском разрушении. Так то игра на 9-ку. Но с 7 винды, игра просто не проходима если вылетит, и если вылетела, то с 6 или 7 сезона сейв, всегда бьётся

    Action is over the top. Buildings collapsing, explosions, destruction. You can change the routes if you fill up your whole power play bar and it makes every lap different. That feeling when you activate the power play and taking out all the other racers. The sound and one second slowdown when you change the routes.     Other events like survival, detonator and air strike is great too. There are some added events but they are sadly only for console.

    There is something unique about the atmosphere and these sounds.

    When it finished you are going to cry sobbingly and beg the developer for another game. Games like this mustn't go under the radar.

    Shame on people who didn't noticed and developers who didn't try to make another game like this.    … Expand

    Is a master peace of underrated racing game and now is still underrated. Sadly there gonna be sequel to the game but is not happening... But the racing, explosions action and season 2 goes on we just not here to see where it goes.

    Black Rock has proved the concept, shown what kind of polish they can muster, and given arcade racing fans a reason to get back in the game. The explosions and thrills will certainly last until the inevitable "Split/Second 2" throws a couple of different buildings at us.
