    A nice little game good for a 15-30 minute diversion every once in a while, but really doesn't draw me in like I was expecting. You have little spirit guys that float on the wind and have some abilities like blow wind, or form a plant bridge, dig a tunnel, etc... and you use these abilities to help the little spirits collect plants and escape the cave. (some have said it reminds them someA nice little game good for a 15-30 minute diversion every once in a while, but really doesn't draw me in like I was expecting. (some have said it reminds them some of a variation on Lemmings and I can see the comparison). The mechanics are OK, but sometimes the levels became a series of a) turn it on and see what happens, b) make adjustments with where I need to use spirit abilities, and c) iterate on that idea until I get it right. The execution of the plan is often more difficult than determining the plan because sometimes things don't work quite like you expect so it's often like "I should've moved that guy blowing wind about a half step to the right" or "I didn't realize he would/wouldn't walk that high up the wall on his own"... that sort of thing. It's a trial and error process and can be interesting for a short while, but sometimes replaying several times until you click everything just perfect and at the right times gets a bit frustrating. But hey it's a cool little game for what it is, so I give it a "middling" 6 score here. I can't play for long stretches, but in short doses it's cool. (PC gamers might not be the prime target audience as I notice it's a phone game also so it may appeal more to phone users). It's definitely a decent game so if this sounds interesting give it a whirl. Developers are communicative and supportive in forums which is a plus. I grade on a hard scale, so to me a 6 isn't bad it's just average and it's tough for me to grade this any higher than "average" unless this type of game appeals to you.… Expand

    Another indie puzzler/platformer. Yay. It has a nice art style, but nothing distinguishes it from the huge crowd of other indie games. I played the first few level and quickly became bored. It's probably great as an ios game, but just does not work as a PC game.

    Sadly, Spirits is nothing more than a mediocre Lemmings rip-off; one that's has less variety in its mechanics and overall look (1991 pixel art FTW!), but mostly one that's just not that fun to play, mostly because of how it relies more in trial-and-error-ing through its badly implemented physics, rather than smart, skilful planning.
