    Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is a strange but compelling simulation. Under an old school graphics and a cumbersome UI, it lies a well written story and a deep stocks and trading game.

    The soundtrack is one of the best of the year, and it’s incredibly stylish. But the sheer gory, numerical compulsion at its core gets more terrifying the more you consider how much sway this manic impulse toward numb, exploitative accumulation holds in our own world. Dystopias like this used to feel creepily prescient. Now, they just feel terrifyingly honest.

    Kind of fascinating how this game will get you addicted for about three days, before you forget you even have it installed. Has a genuinely exciting gameplay loop for about five hours or so, and its sense of humor is honestly pretty funny. While it won't be something you'll come back to after getting about five of the endings or so, learn to rig the in-game stock market, and buy the largest storage compartment, it is a unique premise worth spending a few hours on.… Expand
