Feb 20, 2019One of the best VR standing wave shooters: stylish visuals, very satisfying gameplay, high difficulty and a lot of replayability

Apr 7, 2018A fun, polished, VR shooter. Plenty of variety in weapons, power ups, enemies, etc. making it so much fun to play. it is one of the games I show people when they are trying VR for the first time. It's well worth a try and good one to revisit.

Jun 20, 2020This is a great VR game. Lots of fun, particularly when taking turns and having friends play. Really would like something like this developed into a larger game.
I think i read another review saying you feel like han solo, it is kind of true. A must have on VR imo. -
Nov 13, 2020I have no clue why this game has so few reviews: it's awesome, and one of the very few well executed VR shooters there are. If you're looking for a classic-arcade shooter feeling in 2020, this is it. It's well polished (all the guns, so balanced!), you can't put it away and well.. it's a pleasure to try beat all highscores with all different guns and challenges.

May 17, 2022Could be great if there was another mode or a true multiplayer battle experience that you don't need a tennis court to play it. If you have the room to play arena then it is probably worth the purchase. If not, it's a wave shooter and that's it, minimal content...wait for a sale $10 or less.

Oct 17, 2017Overall, Space Pirate Trainer is a lot of fun and addictive, and features great mechanics, but it’s also a bit vanilla and predictable. It’s done well, but with myriad VR wave shooters to choose from now, it doesn’t stand out as novel or overly exciting. What it is, though, is a solid, energetic VR wave shooter that continued to challenge me and made me come back to try and get my initials emblazoned on the various leaderboards. Just like my old arcade days, I found myself saying “Let me try just one more time to get my initials on the board.”

Oct 16, 2017If you already own it it's worth going back to, if not it's worth taking a look.

Dec 9, 2016This is definitely one of the better VR “turret” shooters – the controls are spot on, the challenge level adequate. Unfortunately there is not enough content.
