In Sonic Riders, players race on air boards through 13 detailed and challenging courses in either single player or 2 player multi-player mode. The innovatively designed tracks are filled with collectables, jump ramps for high flying acrobatic tricks, and long rails for grinding action. Riders will also ride "Turbulence" – waves generated from other riders – to boost their own speed.     Sonic Riders can occasionally be quite entertaining, but too many of those entertaining moments are overridden by bouts of frustration and weak mechanics.

    The gameplay is a sloppy mess, which is what truly drives this game into the ground. While quite a few modes of play are offered, none of them are really worth playing.

    Sonic Riders resembles what I can only imagine Keith Richards' worst nightmares are like, but rendered in 1999-qualitiy Playstation-o-vision. What's more, if you have an ATI card, it's framerate is slower than evolution itself. [June 2007, p.64]

    This actually my personal favourite racing game, It has fast gameplay, cool tricks and interesting events on the stage. Music kicks hard like in every sonic game. Unfortunatelly this game has only 6 stages and I wish it had more.
