    A Lenda do Herói é um jogo que teve começo como um vídeo no Youtube que bombou em 2012 no começo do ano. Atualmente o vídeo está com mais de 4 milhões de visualizações no Youtube, em 2014, Os Irmãos Castro, bolaram uma idéia de produzir um jogo baseado nos 4 vídeos de Lenda do Herói, chamado de A Lenda do Herói O Jogo, game que num site de crowdfunding pedia mais de 100 mil reais masA Lenda do Herói é um jogo que teve começo como um vídeo no Youtube que bombou em 2012 no começo do ano. Atualmente o vídeo está com mais de 4 milhões de visualizações no Youtube, em 2014, Os Irmãos Castro, bolaram uma idéia de produzir um jogo baseado nos 4 vídeos de Lenda do Herói, chamado de A Lenda do Herói O Jogo, game que num site de crowdfunding pedia mais de 100 mil reais mas conseguiu bem mais do que o esperado exatamente R$250.000, agora vamos para o jogo, o Game em sí tem gráficos muito bons, pode se notar pela iluminação e detalhes, jogabilidade ao estilo Castlevania, Wonderboy e Megaman. O personagem é quem está cantando, mas quem narra é o Marcos Castro, As Trilhas sonoras são espetaculares, mas agora vamos para os pontos negativos: A Canção é fora de sincronia, controles lentos, final mal explicado, e desde de o lançamento não tinha a princesa no final, só depois de um update que o jogo teve e agora vamos para o pior, OS BUGS, já foram corrigidos, vários, mas alguns ainda continuam, mas os bugs que enfrentei já se foram. Mas enfim. O Jogo é bom ou não? O Jogo é bem divertido, traz uma temática boa, já estão corrigindo os problemas de sincronia e já estão ofuscando o lamentável lançamento do jogo, então a nota final é 8/10, É bom, mas acho que deveria estar em Early Access.… Expand

    O jogo relembra muito bem os antigos, com referencias ao Super Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, etc, após alguns patchs, a maioria dos BUGS foram resolvidos, com muitas estrofes cantadas diferentes, esse jogo merece uma nota 10.

    Excelente para quem quer se divertir de um modo "old school", curtindo uma trilha sonora gostosíssima de ouvir e rindo com as referências que o Herói canta. É um jogo bastante desafiador que inova bastante na parte da música. Também vale destacar o empenho da equipe em atender à comunidade do jogo.

    Muito bom os Haters que tente fazer melhor pois sendo um game brasileiro ainda esta melhor que muitos ai de fora alem que isso nem tinha sido idealizado pelos Castros foi a comunidade quem pediu para eles fazer o game e ainda tem gente que esta reclamando pois é o primeiro dos irmãos e esta espetacular

    O jogo é ótimo! Tem belos gráficos e traz uma ótima proposta que ninguém nunca teve a ideia, além de é claro ter um belo fator replay devido aos seus colecionáveis e segredos em cada fase, infelizmente o jogo acaba ficando um pouco decepcionante devido aos seus bugs, sua história nada original e o seu alto preço, porém, isso tudo é compensado com sua grande proposta, com seus gráficosO jogo é ótimo! Tem belos gráficos e traz uma ótima proposta que ninguém nunca teve a ideia, além de é claro ter um belo fator replay devido aos seus colecionáveis e segredos em cada fase, infelizmente o jogo acaba ficando um pouco decepcionante devido aos seus bugs, sua história nada original e o seu alto preço, porém, isso tudo é compensado com sua grande proposta, com seus gráficos extremamente charmosos e com sua gameplay variada e algumas vezes emocionante, isso tudo faz ''A Lenda do Herói'' ser um ótimo jogo.… Expand

    Very fluent gameplay, very nice mechanics, nice rhymes, puns. Very involvement. It's hard to play 5 minutes without laugh and every minute you play you want to play more and more. Worth every cent.

    This is game is amazing with tons of references to classic games and makes fun of the cliches yet it’s innovative. I think is good to see indie devs try something new like that. It is easy to say something is good but now I will proof my point:

It might seem like something that gets old quickly but it doesn’t. The art goes in the retro style being pixelated with lot of references to games from the 8-16bits era and I might they say that they’re astonishing.

    I won’t be spoiling anything about the story but I have to say, if you’re looking for a story that will make you cry this isn’t the game but I guarantee you will have fun with it and get some good laughter.

    You might be asking “what about the gameplay?”, well it’s your classic action platformer but it responds very well and it feels really good to play it. And the replay value is there with tons of secret to collect so you might have to replay some levels if you want to get all the experience of the game.

    As I said in the beginning this is an amazing game. It is still getting updates until this day (since it was released in 2016) and is so nice seeing it English. I really would recommend you to check it out.    … Expand

    O game tem uma proposta interessante, mas alem do resultado final decepcionar, acaba enjoativo, e o preço nada convidativo fez com que esse jogo, acabasse como uma moda passageira...

    O jogo traz o que prometeu de forma parcial, em partes acertaram perfeitamente, em outras não, o sistema do jogo cantado é impressionante, mas os inúmeros bugs atrapalham a diversão em algumas ocasiões.

    O nome do jogo devia se chamar A lenda do Bug. Se fosse lançado como Early acess seria mais bonito. Lançaram o jogo todo bugado, lamentável. Isso só queima o desenvolvimento dos jogos brasileiros.

    A ideia de usar visuais e referencias de jogos clássicos é ótima, para um jogo flash de navegador.

    Agoras sobre o Crowdfunding, pelo menos o criador de Ant Simulator foi sincero, se esse jogo arr(ancou)ecadou 250 MIL REAIS (SIM VOCÊ LEU CERTO R$250,000), ele merecia ter o triplo da qualidade. Sem contar o preço absurdo de R$30,00 por um joguinho flash que supostamente é legal porque meia duzia de youtubers disseram.
    Concluindo: Se você tá afim de pagar R$30,00 por um jogo bonito porém com qualidade navegador esse é o jogo certo para você, se não passe longe.    … Expand

"Songs for a Hero" is a great 2D platformer indie game that fits incredibly well in present days, the art behind it is what makes this game so amazing. Some old reviews shouldn't keep in this website because the game grew up a lot with new things, a DLC, now an english version and a new expansion to the story. There are amazing mods created by the fans and a lovely community.

    The most positive parts about the game are the pixel art, the songs and the fluid gameplay. It may look like just another indie game in the beginning but as you pass the levels the gameplay keep growing with new items, new weapons and new difficult bosses. You can always play the past levels with the new items to pick up the things you had to left behind like notes and chests, and also to find the new mini-bosses inside the current level.

    I think the new expansion is like a prequel to the "Songs 2" just as a "canon filler" in a japanese animation. Is good to play this post-credit part of the game and it helps to understand the end of the game. The new character can be usefull in the future or in a co-op option like a classic SNES platform game.

    Summing up, is a good game for everyone who wants to play it, there isn't a limited age to enjoy it. To the new ones the game can be funny and has a high level gameplay. To the old ones the game is also nostalgic, full of referencees to classic platforms that made many people's childhood happy.    … Expand

    A arte desse jogo é bem bonitinha, gostei muito do Marcos Castro cantando e dublando ao mesmo tempo, ficou bem legal. A trilha sonora também é muito boa, a história é bem simples, mas o jogo é divertido.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. it's an amazing experience, it's really crazy to think that a pixel art animation on YouTube managed to become a real game. the songs are well designed for every situation and are so beautiful. the colors are very strong and vivid and the art is beautiful. what interests me most is the story of the game, at the beginning it is very simple. It's like in Super Mario Bros, a villain kidnaps the princess and the hero has to rescue her. but the Hero is labeled mad, the villagers claim that the princess doesn't exist, it's as if the hero was deluded by his own dream. but still he doesn't give up. it gets a lot more interesting on the game's dlcs, it's very confusing and it's so cool to theorize on what such a thing is, and why it has to be that way. there are many possibilities, like the cid being a time traveler, and the hero being really crazy and schizophrenic making him go too far for something that is not what he thinks. this is my first review of a game and it may not be that good, i just wanted to say how much i love this game. he will always be my favorite… Expand
