    Less than mediocre DLC. It is obvious this one is a cash in. All of the quests could have been easily included in the main game. Literally 90% of this content is fighting over and over the same ghosts, shutting down energy sources and even more fighting. The sidemini-quests are roughly the same type as in the main game. No additional items, wapons, cars, houses. Again, 90% is fighting ghosts, there is no bossfight. No wonder that it goes by 1,50€ on Steam, because it is not worth anything more.     You'll probably breeze through this waferthin little expansion in around 90 minutes. I wouldn't say it's a wholly lousy time though as it does manage to incorporate some atmosphere, silliness and cool new animations, but beyond the thematic overlay of odd Japanese cultural aspects it doesn't really expand upon the original game in any noteworthy fashion. Actually, it does the opposite by not considering your original save file. You start NiNP with a small pile of clothes, no vehicles, and less moves. And once it's over, all you've got to show for it in the main campaign is a silly hat. You will unlock access to clothes and vehicles by fighting groups of Jiang Shi and demons. But this was all stuff I had already gained access to on my main save. So that's quite some shameful, pointless filler.

    Because while the Jiang Shi are fun to look at, they're not too fun to fight. Which between traveling from one place to another, is what you'll be doing a lot of. There are new quirks to fighting these enemies, but if anything they just make the combat feel more strict/repetitive and drawn out. All in all NiNP is a flimsy package that feels rushed out in time for Halloween. Even at the suitably low asking price I don't know if I could recommend this. Hopefully the upcoming Tournament DLC will be a more significant addition.    … Expand

    A great change up from the serious tone of the original storyline. The Vampires are a really nice change up and are ancient Chinese Folklore. You have a fire barrel as new environmental prop along with a portal where you throw the jiang shi into. You will see npcs attacking you at every corner and cars exploding around town.     Definitely better than YotS. This DLC is a supernatural take on the Sleeping Dogs universe. Unfortunately it suffers from all of the same flaws that the base game did. The atmosphere, however, is a refreshing change. Unfortunately, the story is not interesting and doesn't make much sense. Also, the DLC is super short and will take you at most 2 hours to finish the main mission, and lessDefinitely better than YotS. This DLC is a supernatural take on the Sleeping Dogs universe. It has barely any story, the story it does have is complete **** there are literally TWO types of enemies, with a total of 4 attacks between them. While this zombie apocalypse is happening, NPCs behave as if nothing's happening and you're just in the base game. The onlyNightmare in North Point was an absolute abortion of a DLC.     I am a big fan of Sleeping Dogs so i was really excited when they announced the Dlc. I was hoping for something like Big trouble in little china with exciting missions and story. The problem is that the entire dlc consists of going from one location to the next to fight the same enemies over and over without motivation to keep you going.     Es un DLC de zombies... Pero no puedes usar armas de fuego... Que aburrido. Es mas combate, hay unos nuevos movimientos de combate, pero yo quiero dispararle en la cara a los zombies y no puedo. Me hubiera gustado poder dispararle a hordas de zombies. Eso sería épico. Quitando eso es.... Muy simple. No agrega casi nada, la historia es basura, vale 7 dolares y dura 2-3 horas, si vas por losEs un DLC de zombies... Pero no puedes usar armas de fuego... Que aburrido.     Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point is priced accordingly as it's a short and repetitive story that doesn't play to the main game's strengths. It removes Wei Shen out of everything he accomplished and places him in nightmare scenario that's purely tedious and unrewarding. The only redeeming value is that you get to see the lovely Not Ping once more - that and the informative mythos that surrounds the game at an appropriate time.

    Just know that this is a poor echo of the greatness found in Sleeping Dogs and not nearly as charming and thought-out as Undead Nightmare.
