May 28, 2017This should be the textbook game about great graphics and music and animations
**** keep crying about it being hard.
Awesome graphics - the game doesn't try to look old - it uses pixel graphics, and in a
great way. Music rocks. -
Oct 18, 2022Pros.:
- Simple metroidvania-like (platformer actually).
- Some metal elements.
Cons.:
- Everything else. Including game mechanics. -

Apr 8, 20178.1 - Very cool art style and level design, on top of good difficulty. Although I was wishing that there could be more to the combat system and possibly some more abilities for your character, overall a really good platformer.

Jun 21, 2019Good game. Artstyle, music and atmosphere are a big plus. It isn't that hard tbh yeah there are a few parts but since it's overall very reminicent of the snes/genesis days i think it's part of the apeal. Minor nitpick: the weapons aren't all that different and the combat could be better but is fine with me. I enjoy it

Feb 12, 2020Its fine. Like nothing special but its cool. Theres metal, heabanging and all that but the combat gets very repetitive and thers not much variety. Still a good game with great challenge.

Oct 12, 2016A beautifully difficult heavy metal nod to 80s platforming.

Sep 8, 2016After a bumpy start, I started to have a lot of fun with Slain. Once you get into a groove, it's hard for anything to stop you. Generous amounts of metal, blood, and headbanging give this game a unique feel, one that is hard to give up. Slain: Back From Hell is well worth a try.

Aug 28, 2016Slain: Back form Hell is the game that has should been since the beginning. It is a great tribute to the gothic and heavy metal culture, and a very challenging game.
