Yes its true, Atari finally released their cartoon inspired action adventure game: Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, this game is a surefire hit for all the adventure seekers out their, it's sweet graphics, sturdy gameplay, and live sounds are sure to set sail the hearts of adventure gamers all around. The game hit shelves last month and is ready to be played. I compared the game with the new Prince of Persia title (one of my favorites) and Sinbad won a gold star in my opinion. The games graphics are much like the hulk game but a little more improved and cartoonish, the sound system is amazing and the speed of the game is extraordinary, the camera of the game is okay but its very far, but its okay it gives the game a strategy game look and it ain't a bad thing. The controls are very convenient and very simple, they somehow remind me of the M.I.B II PC game, oh well, the game's fairly short but fun to play and you can play it anytime you want to and you'll never get bored. I played this game on a very weak processor so it didn't deliver that much of a graphic, this game needs a Pentium IV HT technology system processor to get the full gritty experience, so if you have a P-4 consider yourself lucky enough to buy this game, if you don't, well still buy it. 1. An adventure game that clearly focuses it's appeal on the 5 to 9 year old market, but for those of us that must sit and play games with our children it does have some redeeming qualities.
  2. Though the game features some competent gameplay mechanics and attractive graphics, the extremely short campaign mimics the film's brief theatrical run a little too well, as it's gone almost before it starts.

Aimed at the younger demographic, Sinbad is a decent little production but the gameplay is repetitive and it doesn't last very long. It's pretty much hack and slash from beginning to end.
