Amazing game (and add-on) that puts most "modern" games to shame. If you like RPGs or turn based strategy, this game is for you. ThereAmazing game (and add-on) that puts most "modern" games to shame. If you like RPGs or turn based strategy, this game is for you. There hasn't been a gem like this since...well, Silent Storm! This game is from those days when there were no terrible microtransactions to ruin a game. Just a full, complete, awesome experience, at a reasonable single price. Can't beat that in 2013. Expand

Straightforward turn-based battles, enough rpg character progression to keep you interested. Older 3D engine is well balanced, and gives great access to destructible 3d building and environment models. Graphics are great for a 2004 game, good enough to play even in 2014. I picked it up for 10 bucks, realized I'd played it through before, said "What the heck, I'll load it up and try it for a few minutes..", and here I am about 12 hours into it having a blast. Think Jagged Alliance 2 in a WW2 setting, and you have a good grasp of gameplay.

Just thought I'd give a review seeing as how it's still a great game after 10 years. I don't know if the developer is still around, but props to them if they are. As good as Jagged Alliance 2, and coming from me that is saying a lot. Really stable with light loading times and good interface. Yes, it is showing it's graphical age, but still looks good enough to play and have a blast. Music and sound are pretty good.
The outstanding features are the use of destructible elements, character stance and line of sight, and the physics engine. Quite remarkable for a bargain title.
