    This is one of the worst sequels I've ever played, literally everything is a downgrade compared to the 1st game. If someone told me this was the first game and #1 is the sequel I would believe them.
    Okay they improved 1 thing, you can now chuck your box after it's full straight into your truck instead of having to carry it back one by one.

    They removed all the complexity, now everything is just metal, non-metal, liquid, no more progression in material quality. You also can't hire workers anymore so you have to pick up every worthless piece of junk yourself. No more upgrading buildings or your house, only your equipment which also requires a massive grind and made me give up once I reached level 3 difficulty ships. No more crafting higher quality materials. No more fluctuating market where some days your materials are worth more than others, now every day your metal is worth $0,02.

    But the biggest disappointment is, they changed the whole goal of the game, instead of trashing every room until the whole ship is empty, which was quite addictive, now ships barely have any furniture on them and most of them you can just pick up with 1 button. The main goal of the game now is to break down walls and demolish the entire ship, which becomes tedious very quickly, since it makes every ship the same, the gameplay never changes.
    This is how every ship goes: you pick up everything that can be moved (just 1 button press), you locate big crates that get destroyed if the floor falls out from under them, you dig through the roof if the box is on a higher floor so that the crane (another new annoyance added) can get to it, if the box/equipment is on the lowest floor you don't even have to engage with anything, just weaken the lower walls and ceiling and make the whole ship collapse at once, no need to engage with the rest of the ship.
    The worst thing about the whole game is those damned double walls (and floors) you have to constantly knock down. It's not enough to hit the 4 corners of the wall to knock down all the connectors, it's not enough to do this all over again on the other side of the wall but you have to cut through the metal frame holding the wall twice for every piece. Sometimes you get lucky and the whole thing collapses without needing to cut, but it feels random because some other times it just stays there floating in the air without being connected to anything else.
    They also ruined the bomb, now it's completely useless, it can only blow up a single wall instead of clearing an entire room and it's way too expensive for how little it does.    … Expand
