Oct 5, 2020The best detective game out there, and one of the best puzzle games of all times, for sure. This game really challenge your brain, or whatever you have inside your skull. In russian localization it's very mellifluous to hear Livanov's voice!

Mar 6, 2012Hate IT, it is that basic. Controls hurt my hands, game to weird, I love Sherlock, I have yet to find a game that does him justice! I hope they just stop making them til they get a real game engine and learn about WASD!

[Anonymous]Sep 6, 2005Story too complex, but nice. graphics and sound very good. Gameplay a little boring and confusing.

Sep 20, 2018Really very well done old-school adventure game. No WASD, no highlighting of usable objects, no in-game help. Patience and rational thinking is the key, my dear player. The voice acting is solid, puzzles pose challenge but everything is purely logical (if somewhat too convoluted ). The engine is old and controls aren't perfect but the game is a great tribute to the world's greatest detective.

May 13, 2023nagyon bonyolult egy játék talán túl nehéz is! semmi rávezetést nem kapsz a játéktól. a történet tipikus sherlock holmes!

The attractive graphics, excellent voice work and relatively coherent , if convoluted, story offer some promise, but a there just isn't enough game in this game.

PC FormatMiserable nonsense that would have Holmes reaching for the syringe. Real detective work is tedious, lengthy, frustrating and often pointless. In that sense at least, Silver earring is spot on. This is fun how? [Nov 2004]

The game features interesting characters, an engaging plot, and beautiful graphics, yet it's an adventure with few puzzles and a mystery where you don't actually solve the mystery.
