  • Summary: Shadows on the Vatican - Act I: Greed has players take on the role of the ex-priest James Murphy who feels inclined to investigate the Vatican after he is convinced that his friend is a victim of something sinister when a briefcase containing compromising documents disappears.

    For people who like story- and character-driven point and click adventures this game is definitively worth playing! I like adventure gamesFor people who like story- and character-driven point and click adventures this game is definitively worth playing! I like adventure games like Broken Sword 1, 2 and 5, Indiana Jones 4, John Yesterday,The Raven, Toonstruck, BOUT (allof them), Runaway 3, The Next Big Thing,... Games with nicely written (and mostly logic) but surprising plots. If you do so, too I would dare to recommend you to play Shadows on the Vatican. The graphics are nicely drawn and stylish, too I think.… Expand

    This game is a surprise: the story is brilliant and interesting, very uncommon for a video game. The characters are unusual, especially the main couple, and they keep the interest alive with their individual stories. The backgrounds are lovely and inspired: Rome looks great. The real weakness of the game is the visual quality of the characters, but I'm sure the team is working on them for the final two acts.… Expand
