Jun 9, 2023A solid turn based RPG that ultimately failed to grab me in a number of ways. Both the characters and the plot and the gamplay just didn't work for me.

Sep 9, 2021I returned to this game 6 years later, since its atmosphere matched our current times, I take my negative review back, this game is good if you give it a chance.

Jul 12, 2018ABSOLUTELY Brilliant game!! The Storyline, combat and overall atmosphere made it one the Games of the Year and my FAVORITE RPG of 2015.... Gives me goosepimple thinking how good it is.
I wish Harebrained Schemes would make another Shadowrun game in the same vein because the knocked it out of the park with this game! -
Mar 31, 20188.5 out of 10.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall is good RPG with tactical turn-based combat. Story, dialogue choices and characters are very interesting, but combat - not so much. It's repetitive and a bit too easy, also team movement between locations in long fights is very clunky. Fortunately, combat encounters are not that frequent so they don't get too annoying. -

Mar 26, 2018I have completed this game twice, and loved it both times. Only reason I cannot give it 10/10 is because of the game-breaking bug which can be encountered during one of the final battles. There is a work-around, but it is disappointing that this has not yet been fixed.
Still, worth a play! -

Jan 20, 2018Interesting story, characters and locations, let down by a total lack of voice acting and very light combat, think budget XCOM. Overall though I enjoyed it quite a bit and will definitely be playing Hong Kong next.

Apr 5, 2017Best Shadowrun I played, much better in all aspect from S:Returns and much much better plot, characters and dialogues then S:Honk Kong. Some characters like Gloria are really masterpieces and her plot and quests are absolute marvelous.

Mar 7, 2017Good NPC and companions, tactic and rewarding combat system, a lot of goood written story and I just love those descriptive narrative. Full immersion - prepare for a lot of hours of well-spent gaming time!

Feb 12, 2017Pleasant game, with slightly above average story, no real decisions though. Combat sucks as before (shamans are so useless..) but it gets you through the game as a whole.

Dec 11, 2014Shadowrun: Dragonfall has excellent writing which supports the whole shebang beautifully, but its sub-par tactical gameplay holds it back once the bullets and blades start flying.

Oct 31, 2014If you’re new to Shadowrun Returns, skip the initial release and start with Dragonfall Director’s Cut. Nearly every aspect of the Dragonfall campaign is superior to Dead Man’s Switch, and there’s far more to be excited about than afraid of.

Oct 27, 2014A world that demands your attention, Shadowrun endures long after the finale.
