    This videogame is amazing, a fast platformer game with very good graphics and high gameplay. If you like 2D platformers games you can't miss this one. It remembered me to Gryzor or Contra Shattered Soldier but with a map and different ways to reach the goal helped by gadgets.

    PROS: very good graphics, smooth controls, superb visuals, gadgets system upgrade, very interesting 2D/3D    This videogame is amazing, a fast platformer game with very good graphics and high gameplay. If you like 2D platformers games you can't miss this one. It remembered me to Gryzor or Contra Shattered Soldier but with a map and different ways to reach the goal helped by gadgets.

    Sin innovar en nada y con una remasterización 1:1 de la obra original, Shadow Complex sigue siendo un gran juego, un “metroidvania” que te enganchará desde principio a fin y disfrutarás de cada una de las 6 a 8 horas que nos ofrece este título.

    Good game. Dated in its level design (boring corridors and narrow rooms with same color palette and assets), graphics, but still worth playing if you like metroidvanias like I do. Controls are good for the most part except for the finicky aim assist. Story is probably the worst one I've ever seen in all my years of playing videogames. But new abilities, weapons, ways you can kill enemiesGood game. Dated in its level design (boring corridors and narrow rooms with same color palette and assets), graphics, but still worth playing if you like metroidvanias like I do. Controls are good for the most part except for the finicky aim assist. Story is probably the worst one I've ever seen in all my years of playing videogames. But new abilities, weapons, ways you can kill enemies and fun traversal keep it interesting till the end. Boss battles aren't every great but that doesn't deter the game from being good. However, in 2021, there are a lot of better games that outshine this. In fact even at its time, there are better games. Still, if you're a fan of the genre, it mostly won't disappoint you. Pick it up cheap on a sale. Final verdict: 7/10.… Expand

    Boring boring and boring. It is repetitive and pacing is slow.

    It bores you to death.

    Even with seven-year-old graphics, Shadow Complex looks and runs great, with fluid animations and sprawling levels that any metroidvania game dreams of. This is an essential game for every metroidvania fan.

    Shadow Complex needed a lifting. The remastered edition improves some post-processing effects, add some new textures, and in the end remains the great metroidvania that Chair developed few years ago. The uninteresting story is the biggest letdown of the game, that stands out when it comes to gameplay and level design.
