Graphics isn't SEUM's strongest side but it does make you feel like your stuck in this underground world which is ok. Soundtrack - even I don't listen to metal at all is great boost to the game and fits well. Expand

All Satan and demon like things are way out of my style. But speedrunners and platformers are. Tried the demo and it was ok organized, starting with easier levels and going to harder ones. Also if you like secrets you will be covered here. Now the game has over 100 lvl's to play as I see. If you played SMT you can try this..

Have 666% the game at this point, which takes longer if you own the DLC than if you don't (go figure). ~20 hours total. Overall pretty good. Has Workshop support for usermade levels, but let's be honest, these tend to suck when games allow this, and Seum is no exception. Wish it had more music tracks, unfortunately the DLC only brings one new one with it.

If my opening sentence didn't drive you away from the game well congratulations you are in for a fun game. SEUM is a game developed by a small Croatian Pine studio. It's a fast paced speedrunning platformer in which your goal is to reach the end as soon as you can. Sounds simple but it actually isn't the game has many challenges and many ways to overcome them from shooting fireballs to anti-gravity and so on. Humor and references to other games are a big part of SEUM, as it is it's heavy metal soundtrack. Gameplay mostly relies on your skills, precision, pathfinding (which may sound weird but there are some areas where you are lost) and reactions. Length is usually hard to find in similar games but this one has over 100 levels which is just good and they are not just piled or randomly generated, they are planned and well designed levels. Best feature of SEUM is that you can play it for 10 minutes or a few hours and you can repeat levels for better score. Biggest flaw is it's performance issue that i have encountered and that is sometimes when you load certain levels you have a bit of lag in loading but in other cases it runs very well. I would recommend this game to people who like platformers and pepole who are calm because some levels are very challenging. Game is worth it's price and now (02/08/2016) is 20% off on Steam Expand

Wow. This feels so fluid and nice and gets you pumped whenever you open the game. Oh, and not to mention... F***KING HEAVY METAL BABY! Yeah, I like this game, and for the nice price of whatever it is in your country this is a game not to miss.

NOTE: I have not played this game since launch because it left a foul taste in my mouth, as such i do not know if it has improved, but there are some things i don't think can be saved and this is one of them. I did complete every level at the time and grab all collectibles though, and these were my thoughts.

This game is not worth your time. Seriously don't even bother.

I played the beta for this game and enjoyed it quite a bit, so when the game came out, i bought it and was very excited. But let me tell you, its a disaster.

Quality over quantity is a popular phrase. The developers clearly don't know this. There are way too many levels, and they are buggy, not polished, and later on, they just get way too long.

The game feels fun at first, but it's just a smoke screen over a horrible mess of a game that will make you want your time and more importantly your money back. The controls are clunky, the level design directly goes against speed-running, the whole point of the game, and the graphics are not interesting or good.

The Graphic are always the same, they never change, just a color swap. They will bore you very quickly.

The music is awesome at first, but it never changes, i get it its heavy metal it is going to sound similar for the most part. But between re-used tracks and little to no variety you will want to just turn it off.

It is a good concept executed extremely bad. It sounds cool, speed through hell with heavy metal playing in the background. But everything about it is bad.

I'll say it again, don't even bother wasting your money on this piece of trash.

SEUM takes everything that sucks about 3D platforming and turns it on it's head. Not a massive amount of depth, just speed running through level after level. But those levels are designed well and makes the most out of the power up mechanics you receive along the way. That, plus the music and comedic tone makes for an addictive ride.

Nice little time waster here, especially if you like

Nice little time waster here, especially if you like the game-play as I'm sure it'll keep you hooked. Well worth the price if you like fast paced platforming. (Played on GOG).

The line between motivation and pure hatred is very thin. While I like the basic idea the redundancies as well as the strange jumping behavior keep me from getting invested more.

We're happy with this attention to gameplay as the Speed Run. However, it lacks a better technical end. To be old school does not force you to be ugly. In addition we would like more options for the community; to create levels, to share and integrate them into the game.

SEUM delivers hours of entertainment, frustration, and the perfect bite-sized trials to hit, not just the ‘one more try’ feeling, but instead the ‘damn I was close and I won’t stop before beating this thing’.
