    Apart from the basic graphics, this indie game should be applauded. In a time when new developers aim to sell cool look with no sense, Seeders brings exactly the opposite and draws you back to the golden years of gaming. The retro feels is there throughout the gameplay, including the metalic yet not overly annoying music, funny looking creatures and skater main character. The best thing about it are masterminded levels that give your brain a nice restart. This is not a game to enjoy, this is a game made for you to suffer, pull your hair out and lose your sleep over a stupid switch you can't reach. Once you solve a puzzle, the excitement of accomplishment nudges you toward new and new screens, until you realize you are almost late for work, and that's what I believe true gaming is.     I wish this game had just a little bit better graphics and animations, so I could give it a clear 10. The puzzles are amazing and plentiful. The story is average, but interesting. It starts with a group of skateboarders learning that their playground is going to be turned into development site and they decide to steal the construction permits. Naive. However, as you come closed to company headquarters, you realize that something really sinister is happening in this shady business. Soon, you get attacked by alien robots and... well, spoilers.

    Anyway, the story is solid, but the main thing are the puzzles. Most require really unorthodox solutions. There are blocks you can move around, and switches, elevators, lasers that reflect of metallic surfaces, etc. There are some really unique puzzles I have never seen before, and they require out of the box thinking to solve. The game reminds me of Braid, except that is has many more puzzles than Braid and graphics is not so nice. Recommended.    … Expand

    Looking at the cute graphics, I was expecting something like Super Mario with co-op and bought this to play with my son. But this game is really not good for co-op, because puzzles are too hard. While trying to solve the puzzle, my kid would play around and move the blocks. This wouldn't be a problem if I could move the blocks back, but often they would get to a wall and fall into a holeLooking at the cute graphics, I was expecting something like Super Mario with co-op and bought this to play with my son. But this game is really not good for co-op, because puzzles are too hard. While trying to solve the puzzle, my kid would play around and move the blocks. This wouldn't be a problem if I could move the blocks back, but often they would get to a wall and fall into a hole and I would have to reset the puzzle. I haven't tried the single-player mode, perhaps that's better. Although, the puzzles seem really hard and frustrating.

    Although it looks like one, it really isn't a platformer game. So, not for me. If you are into puzzle games, you might like it though.    … Expand

    When I first started to play this game, it seemed quite average. I felt that physics were somewhat awkward and puzzles seemed too hard because of it. I had to rage-quit after about two hours of playing. Then, a week later I accidentally found a YouTube video walkthrough and as I was looking at the puzzle that made me quit, I discovered I tried a completely wrong approach to solve it. Then, a week later I accidentally found a YouTube video walkthrough and as I was looking at the puzzle that made me quit, I discovered I tried a completely wrong approach to solve it. It wasn't the physics that were the problem, it was me trying to fight it and doing something almost impossible instead of trying to change the approach.

    I have to admit I had to look at walkthrough videos to solve some puzzles, and I still haven't finished playing the game, but the game is really, really good. The puzzles are quite original and I haven't seen something like this before. Sometime I would leave the game and think about a puzzle for a day or two before solving it.

    If you are into puzzles, give this game a go. You might need to buckle down and resist that urge to rage-quit at first, but once you get to chapter two, it starts to be less about physics and more about logic, and I find that part of the game highly enjoyable.    … Expand
