Season of 12 Colors is an emotional and thought provoking visual novel with story telling that is on equal grounds with Narcissu and Ame no Marginal. Season of 12 colors surrounds themes of time travel, loss, and friendship. The game is full of mystery as one character tries to remember the past and another seeks a way to find her own place in time. The character Jasmine is stuck traveling from one time to another and tragedy surrounds her unfortunate fate. She uses paper planes as a means of sending her messages across time and to her childhood friend. The visual novel starts off sweet and innocent but takes a darker turn much when Jasmine disappears into another time. After completing the main story their is much more to learn in the decoded part of the game in which you get three different perspectives that eventually come together in one of two ways. The game does have two possible endings based on a secret action. Expand
