    + once a level is reached, even if you didn't beat it, you can jump right into it and try again
    + various characters with slightly different abilities increase replayability
    - 3D models do not look as charming as the previous sprites

    A fantastic farewell for this Japanese cult classic, Farewell Umihara Kawase delivers the complex physics, amazing level design and high difficulty action of this franchise for the first time in the West. An amazing introduction to a forgotten franchise.

    Sayonara Umihara Kawase is really challenging but sometimes too much frustrating and repetitive. Also it’s extremely recognizable both for strange locations and wacky enemies. Recommended only for fans and conservative players.
