    Just started playing the game, finished chapter one but so far it is exactly what you think it would be. Lots of campy nostalgia fun. Only wish there was not so much button mashing.

    Not bad but nor good either, just above average
    Yeah lot of fun references to movies or other video games but the QTE at the start of every fight + inside them to increase / reduce damage is boring.
    5 chapters but the game isn't even finished, still waiting for the final fight, or maybe it's a troll ?

    A bit meagre, perhaps, but for a fiver this is a nostaglia trip worth taking - a short, simple RPG that's a neat pop culture homage. [Apr 2014, p.93]

    Saturday Morning RPG has a few issues, but none are glaring. The writing occasionally falls flat, and at several points a glitch caused my view to be obstructed while using a timed button-press attack in combat, but the game remains wholesomely charming and fun throughout.

    For $6, Saturday Morning RPG is a steal for anyone who grew up with 80′s cartoons. The references will keep you smiling and the interesting combat will keep you playing. I can’t suggest it enough.
