Jun 25, 2024It’s nice that the developer is still supporting the game almost 18 months on, improving the post-launch state of the game, and the lesbian polyamory is just nice to see without delving too deep into fanservice.

Jan 25, 2023Samurai Maiden is entertaining enough – the characters are likable, the combat is high-quality, and there’s enough to unlock to keep players coming back for ages, and all of its flaws are things that can be ignored or worked around. In the end, it’s a charmingly upbeat experience about a schoolgirl cutting up zombies with a sword, and what’s not to like about that?

Dec 11, 2022Samurai Maiden is at its best when the game depicts a gentle caress or two hands demurely interlocked. But between those moments of heartfelt affection are long stretches of tepid action, which flirt with frustration across the game’s final hours.
