May 26, 2021Audio Bugs galore.
Physics tied to the framerate.
Cutscenes capped at a jarring 23 fps.
Game capped at ~65 fps.
It's 2021, this is unacceptable for a remaster. -

Dec 5, 2022Kayne West - Power...…Honestly this moment alone in the game is one of my favorite moments of gaming history and because of that alone, I can recommend this game.

Jun 26, 2020Everything I love from the original game is back and only one thing pisses me off...
There is no day-night cycle....
The game is mostly set at night and there is no chance to play in free roam without everything being dark...
Reminds me of NFS 2015, which was dark and night only and had great graphics.... -
Sep 27, 2020The fps problem is too much. And the graphics are very bad. I don't like the gameplay.

Dec 24, 2021Extremely buggy and the original had a more consistent look. This remaster improves half the game and ruins the other half. Worse looking textures, colors, and oh my god the bugs. No car sound, sirens not turning off, headlights not casting light in the dark, performance differences of 8000% between camera angles, it's crazy

Dec 13, 2021The only SR game I played. It was OK. I heard the second one is the best, maybe I give it a try at some point.

Nov 1, 2022This is literally a reshade with ai upscaled textures sold as a 40 dollar "next gen" product. To make everything worse, the character's lip dosen't sync with the audio! They also **** up their models.

Jun 22, 2020While yes…there are still some performance problems, Saints Row the Third Remastered is a helluva fun game, especially with friends. The story missions will have you rolling with laughter, and there’s no setback if you find yourself in the middle of a shootout between all three gangs and the Steelport police. It’s just all good fun. And with all the craziness going on in the world, it’s nice to have a game to lose yourself in that makes you not take yourself quite as seriously and reminds you to be thankful for the time you have and tackle life one day at a time.

Jun 10, 2020Overall there isn’t much more to say about Saints Row: The Third Remastered because, all in all, it’s the same game I loved back in 2011. Underneath a fairly fresh coat of paint is the same adrenaline pumping, juvenile story of a gang-turned-media-sensation trying to rebuild itself. In that regard, assessed purely in a vacuum, this game is a smash hit. In context, though, I can’t help but feel this release is a bit premature. With the original Saints Row: The Third still being recent enough that it looks alright and plays well, I can’t shake the feeling that letting it nap for another few years may have resulted in a more impressive remaster.

Jun 8, 2020Speaking from my heart, I maintain that this is, in a number of ways, a compromised version of Saints Row: The Third that the new coat of paint doesn’t really make up for. However, if you were fortunate enough to play the game back when it first came out, especially when it was working fully, this is a very pretty way to look back at it.
