While it's initial appeal is high, it's lasting value is low. Once I beat the game (after a few hours of playing) the game quickly lost it's appeal. I tried playing again but could not perceive any difference to the experience. I rate it low due to it's quick finish and low replay value.

Fun for 1-2 hours. I beat it in my second try. Unfortunately there is no acceleration key, so once the ressource are depleted you have to wait for the remaining waves. (i finished my base at ~wave 15).

Stick with it for the first 15-20 minutes and you'll get 4 or 5 hours of pure and perfect joy whilst working out how to beat the standard missions. If you're a perfectionist and a good strategist, you'll get more hours on top of that seeing how far you can get. Excellent game design and atmosphere. I'm a little sceptical about the AI but this doesn't take anything away from the experience,Stick with it for the first 15-20 minutes and you'll get 4 or 5 hours of pure and perfect joy whilst working out how to beat the standard missions. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a good game, that can get you trapped until finishing the game. So it can be addictive, if you like strategy/ base building. The fact that the building pieces are like Tetris...make it nice detail. Unfortunately, no different pieces (exact the same as in tetris)
Biggest problem is: it has few challenges. Once you get them, there is little interest in doing the same again.
Adding more challenges/missions it is necessary to convert this game in something great.

An absolutely lean game, both aesthetically and design-wise. If Buddha played tower defense, this would be it. [Issue #239]

Pleasant and absorbing gameplay with minimalistic visuals. Unfortunately content is also rather minimalistic (only 7 types of structures to build and a handful of scenarios). [04/2014, p.67]

Rymdkapsel will easily eat hour after hour of your time before you will even notice, but in the long run it will leave you longing for something more elaborated.
