On the positive side: it is an incredibly deep and ambitious title, there are no other current gamest that would go near to it with the level of depth and possibilities.

On the negative: the developers release the same game every half-a-year (GPS 1-3, Commander in Chief, Yo Presidente, Masters of the World, Worlds Leader, Rulers of Nations 1-2, etc.) for an elevated price of €50-60

That said, the game is getting a bit better every year, but is still full of bugs and discrepancies. Could be worth trying if you are into geopolitical games, but be prepared for a lot of frustration, and a bit of anger at the developers who are trying to ripping you off by releasing new edition only to forget about them as patches are rare.

We'll made simulator with worst optimization. Battles are easy not in depth but not too unrealistic also. Political simulation is enjoying not realistic but you wouldn't get fun if it is. Only bad thing about this is optimization.

It is not worth it, bugs do not allow an enjoyable gameplay, it is a total waste of time, also they can randomly betray you in your own country.

Original and interesting concept is buried deep under confusing micromanagement system and poor visuals. Only a few experts would evaluate its potential. [Issue#200]

Even the so-called "hardcore" games should be fun to play, but Geo-Political Simulator 2 is too stodgy to let you have any.

Rulers of Nations gives you the opportunity to rule one out of 170 countries. No matter what you do, always listen to the people and your ministers. Or fire them! Unfortunately, this game has too much possible course of actions, which makes it pretty confusing.
