May 10, 2018I love this game, because of interesting concept and gameplay. Of course, it is not on the level of Outlast, but still I had a great pleasure playing this game

Apr 21, 2017Roots of Insanity is a survival-horror FPS with plenty of creep-factor. The scary noises and the macabre visuals make for a terrifying campaign, and the lack of buffers provides a challenging atmosphere. If you want a good time killer, look no further. While there are obvious flaws, such as difficulty in combat, and balance in elements of gameplay, Roots of Insanity is replayable fun.

Apr 19, 2017Roots of Insanity is not a complete disaster; it offers some weak jump-shocks glued together by an adequate if cliched story. Gameplay is straightforward and its few or so hours of game time have their moments of excitement and even a few twists. But its fatal flaw is that, on a basic level, it just isn’t very scary. If you are looking for serious, pants-peeing terror, there are many much better offerings out there right now, and you might want to invest your time – and clean underwear budget – elsewhere.

Apr 10, 2017Despite the decent story, Roots of Insanity has an unforgivable amount of issues like poor animations, a terrible combat system, a bad implemented random loot system. It looks like an Early Access game that needs a lot of work and polishing.
