    Let's start off that if you do get this game, the graphics are not on par with Planet Coaster or other indie roller coaster titles. But damn, it's god damn addicting to play.

    I'm using OpenRCT2 in this review since this "add-on" makes it playable on Windows 10, it has Twitch integration, more features and of course a tad better/upgraded graphics. And this add-on makes RCT2 even more playable just because of how many great memories this game brought back in the good ol days.

    RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 easily has to be the greatest one of the once commercially successful trilogy (no, I'm not even mentioning the 3DS and Mobile "deconstructions" of the franchise, except for in these parentheses). Even over a decade later, RollerCoaster Tycoon is still as addictive and charming as it was once upon a time to the general public. And the expansion packs -- bundled inRollerCoaster Tycoon 2 easily has to be the greatest one of the once commercially successful trilogy (no, I'm not even mentioning the 3DS and Mobile "deconstructions" of the franchise, except for in these parentheses). Even over a decade later, RollerCoaster Tycoon is still as addictive and charming as it was once upon a time to the general public. And the expansion packs -- bundled in this conveniently priced special edition -- don't make it any less time consuming.

    Pros: Extremely addictive; excellent gameplay mechanics; lots of coasters, rides, scenery, and more, especially in the expansions; inclusion of actual Six Flags parks and allowing players to build their own Six Flags park makes it even funner for players not interested in the more challenging parks; even after a decade of release, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 has stood the test of time and remains the best entry in the series.

    Cons: It's not a sequel more than it is a refinement of the first game, not including its expansion packs; minor bugs, especially during the scenario designer; no sandbox mode; could have used some more rides, even during its time of release; challenging for anyone who's not 100 percent dedicated to the franchise.    … Expand

    Roller Coaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack is a great game bundle. It provides the original Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 along with its two expansions, Wacky Worlds and Time Twister. This game is the most realistic all-around amusement park simulator out there. It has a large variety of rides and attractions as well as decent graphics.     RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 continues the success of building theme parks. Now with even more parks to complete and with different objectives. Even more theme parks if you have the two expansions. Way more fun and wild rollercoasters to build as well as more shop 'n' stalls. I always make sure to have the Balloon Stalls all around the park. What a view at the end when you complete the objective.
