    Nice fun casual game but it is mostly based on luck the skill is minimal , i don`t see it as a PC esport game , maybe with a console controller but with mouse and keyboard is way harder to do aerial moves. Great optimization and no lag for me mostly play casual . Very smart move to make the game free to play but not nice to make steam users use epic client. . Some nice game modes but no punishment for leavers and joining a lost game or a full team of AI it`s not fun. Maybe they can add a more realistic gravity mode so the car will only be able to do small jumps and reduce the hang in the air time to make it more realistic. Some players use some dumb strats like passing the ball to the center of their own goal post when they are defending or as an attaker they pass the ball to their own goal post:)

    This Game is Awesome with a lot of depth BUT!!! It lacks content. Camera is horrible at times in both views, only 3 maps, Accessory are Terrible that you unlock. No progression, no stats the game needs work. A lot of it! Destroying other cars seems to hurt you more than help you. once you get higher up in rank its non stop goalies which seems to make the game more boring to me than fun IThis Game is Awesome with a lot of depth BUT!!! A capture the flag could be so cool and ramps other crazy **** to the maps would be fun but maybe I'm all wrong maybe the game is meant to only be played on a flat surface with the same repetitive gameplay don't get me wrong I loved this game but after 29 hours i moved on.… Expand

    + Incredible fun, dynamic gameplay that allows for emergent scenarios and hilarious antics
    + Very high skill ceiling that opens the game up as a spectator esport ? Car mechanics are so fun, it would be nice to see them in different kinds of games instead of only in soccer matches ? Skill ceiling means that game can lose its staying power for some players due to the chaos of    Tier 2

    Rocket League is a great game at its core, but the lack of a free camera mode and the crappy matchmaking system take away a lot of the fun. You get matched against pre-made parties that are a lot stronger than your own team all the time.

    Absolutely brilliant game and a game of the year in my opinion. Graphics and game play are outstanding and the local multi-player is my favorite part of the game. worth every cent of my purchase and hope they bring more to the game such as game modes and unlocks. Overall the game is outstanding and definitely worth getting!!

    Easily one of the most popular multiplayer sports games of the industry. Rocket League is a crazy but fun car-soccer game that is certainly worth a try if you want to diverge from your usual action multiplayers.

    Cons: The worst camera I've ever had to experience, counting every single videogames I've ever played in my whole life. The camera does not offer free control, you're either looking at the ball or you're looking in front of your car.     Need to unzoom because the ball is high up behind you? Too bad, you have to either see your car or the ball, not both, in this situation.
    Also, the game is made to be played with a controller. You do have the ability to rotate the camera slightly with a controller, but still barely.

    Overall, the game is absolutely amazing but looses 3 points for the terrible camera, it's really that bad.
    And it isn't worth taking off points just because it's made for a controller or because the bots even on All-Star difficulty tend to be rather stupid and mix teams.    … Expand

    The matchmaking can be pretty broken at times, but other than that it's a pretty cool game. It got a whole lot more depth to it than you would expect, too.

The major achievement of Rocket League is how it offers something for both casual and competitive gamers. As a casual gamer, you can play it with your friends and have great fun. If you are more competitive, you can go into ranked mode and see the extremely high skill ceiling that Rocket League provides. Watch some youtube videos and you will see the ridiculous moves the more pro gamers can do, which obviously comes with a lot of training. So, if you enjoy getting better as you spend hundreds of hours on a video game, Rocket League will please you. There is basically no limit to how much you can improve your skills.

    In addition, the game has very tight controls and fun gameplay. I hated the music, but that’s personal taste. The only reason I did not love Rocket League as much as many others, is that in my opinion, the game at its core is very basic. I did enjoy it for several hours, but I could not take it seriously for longer than that. There is absolutely nothing wrong about making a game with basic gameplay especially when it was executed perfectly like in the case of Rocket League. I just can’t justify giving it a higher score, taking into consideration all the other video games I’ve had more fun playing.

    Love this game! Great to play with friends and online. I recommend turning chat off because the community is incredibly toxic.

    A fun game to play with friends. It's not the type of game I would play hundreds of hours, but I definitely recommend it to people who's looking for a game to have fun with friends.

    I don't like the concept of the car + the ball at all, it looks like the free-to-play Roller Champions (game which is not liked by the players in the majority) ...

    Este juego para mi es como el Fort, solo me meto para tenerlo de fondo y platicar con mi compas escuchando música, aunque cuando nos ponemos modo focus si esta muy divertido.

    Epic Games ruined it. When Epic Games bought the rights to the game, I knew it would go downhill, and it did. A new shop, removal of the system to get items without paying, no more free items, no more free chests,    This was one of my favorite games when I was younger.     Sick gameplay.

    Awful cosmetics and style in my opinion. I really dislike that. But that's a personal preference.
    Also rough community. Better use that "mute all chat" functionality.

    Fun game, but it doesn't come close to reaching its potential due to irritating camera controls and a distinct lack of options. For one, I would have liked the option to play without aerial rocketry or the option to play with smaller goals. You can't, there are no options at all.

    Gets really boring after a few hours. I wish they could do more events. Also don't follow battle passes. Be better than battle royale games :(

    Do you remember “Top Gear” episodes in which football matches were played using hatchbacks? The same idea is the cornerstone of Rocket League – one of those jewels that do not care for bells and whistles (though it does look great) and Kevin Spacey in the credits, instead focusing on squeezing every last drop of fun out of a simple concept.
