And that’s kind of the story of Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball in a nutshell: it’s easily one of the best, most fun, well-crafted multiplayer games available right now, making it all the more impressive that it was designed entirely by one person, but no one is playing it.

It's hard to fault the developers for not including a split-screen multiplayer mode, but that might have sent Disco Dodgeball over the edge of recommendation for me. While the fast-paced action of all-out dodgeball combat is consistently enjoyable, it would be even better with friends in the room.

There’s just not enough staying power, and controls that are a few notches too loose make it difficult to determine a shot’s trajectory. Disco Dodgeball is a creative player in a crowded space, but lacks too many attributes to stand out.

The 4 pack is definitely worth it, as it is great fun with friends. Yes it is not something you can do for 10 hours straight, but for an hour a day it is an absolute blast. Expand

Tight, fast and frenetic combat makes this game a great adrenaline rush, where even losing is a blast. Playing with friends is certainly recommended and created many memorable moments that led me to say several times, "Ok, I have to sleep, just one more game." From such a simple concept, comes a lovingly crafted game that rivals (and in many instances outright destroys) the experiences you would have in most AAA FPS with budgets in the millions. I can not recommend this game enough. Expand

This game encapsulates simplicity at its finest, boasting a dazzling infusion of brilliance that's bound to keep you grinning from ear to ear. Prepare for an electrifying rendezvous with entertainment, backed by a stellar OST that’s practically music to your gameplay-craving ears. But, alas, even amidst all this glory, there's a somber truth to unveil – the player base is a tad on the lower side. Yet, fear not, for if you manage to muster a squad of enthusiastic players, you're in for an explosive extravaganza of enjoyment! Expand

This is a dodgeball / online FPS where you try to nail your opponents in a futuristic setting while listening to a constant techno music. IThis is a dodgeball / online FPS where you try to nail your opponents in a futuristic setting while listening to a constant techno music. I can see why it may give a charming first impression to some, but it doesn’t take long for the makeup to wear off and you are left with a simplistic, dull and unresponsive game. This is one of those dead multiplayer games where the game doesn’t only have microtransactions, it is also sold for 10 bucks. Expand
