Accurately recreating the same tactics and mini-games that motored the original software so many years ago, nostalgia buffs and open-hearted genre freaks should immediately take notice.
-
The end result feels like a few mini games pieced together to make a whole that isnt quite... whole.
-
AceGamezHardcore fans of any of the genres contained within Robin Hood: Defender Of The Crown will not be satisfied.
-
Essentially a turn-based series of minigames. It's deeper and more enjoyable than you might expect from that description, but ultimately it gets somewhat repetitive and can be completed rather quickly and easily.
-
An average strategy title. The simple action and battle elements will turn off hardcore strategists. But the strong story and entertaining characters will keep you from popping the disc out.
-
The remake to one of my favorite games of all times brings some colorful characterization and narrative, along with great voice acting and flashy particle effects, but it fails to sufficiently advance the original's simplistic gameplay.
-
A trip down memory lane for anyone pining for the original, but without strategic and gameplay enhancements, it's just a poor game by 2003 standards.
