Dec 8, 2025Road to Empress was a surprise. Despite having no vested interest in the genre or period going into the game, I came out a massive fan. Is it enough to make me want to watch a bunch of palace dramas? No. I like the interactive nature of this game, and it does make me want to play me want to play more. If you’re after a dramatic, sometimes silly and overall great fun FMV experience, this should be at the top of your list.

Oct 20, 2025Road to Empress presents a thrilling tale of political intrigue and infighting that keeps you hooked. Every character's acting is top-notch and you feel the emotions that they express. The game's story is slightly hampered by the fact that there is only one viable path despite having multiple choices during events. You shouldn't miss out on this story if you are a fan of FMV games.
