A solid engine brings an interesting conflict to life. No shortage of grognard fun, but not for the faint of heart.

If you're interested in The Russian Civil War, pick up Revolution Under Siege. Being an AGEod game, RUS has its share of annoying bugs, but no other title is dedicated to Russia's biggest national tragedy of the 20th century.

The challenge RUS presents is well worth your time if you can deal with its no-frills presentation. [Aug 2011, p.79]

Written with great attention to detail, a lot of effort has been put in the research of this game. Only possible downside to this game is a steep learning curve but if your not lazy the game mechanics can be easily understood. The game does have a couple bugs and crashes but these are rare and don't destroy the game. All in all this game is gem for those willing to learn its mechanics and for those who love history, especially the Russian civil war. Full Review »
