This game had a lot of potential. it's got a great concept; manage a fire department making sure your firefighters and paramedics are all happy and going out to respond to emergencies. Unfortunately none of the concepts are flushed out and things that would make the game fun like pathfinding AI, vehicle sirens, physics, or a pause button that doesn't open the menu just aren't present in game.

Game is text-heavy, as you would expect. Yet game doesn't offer any means to increase text size until it becomes readable. That basic failure requires so low an intelligence that you would wonder why the game maker even tried to make a strategy game. And so low a sense of empathy that this game maker would be more skilled at stealing wheelchairs than at assisting anyone. Anyway, it cannotGame is text-heavy, as you would expect. This is not just lazy, but insulting! This is nothing but pure recycling with no improvements. Just exchange some textures and models – maybe the players won’t notice. I hope they will.

Rescue - Everyday Heroes provides gamers with an entertaining and casual simulation gameplay experience of both responding to emergencies and managing the operations of a fire station. While the does game does suffer from some gameplay issues with unit pathfinding and lack of location variety, the great deal of included missions and emergency units and vehicles make for a worthwhile purchase for genre fans of management and strategy.
