Jun 24, 2025With Rematch, it’s a clean hit: refined visuals, addictive gameplay, and an original concept make it a standout. It’s proof that there’s still room for innovation in the gaming industry—even when it feels like everything revolves around the same tired themes and formulas.
-
Jun 23, 2025Rematch is a serious candidate to be the Rocket League of this decade. Beyond the obvious similarities (more obvious once you pick up the controller) it is finally a different take on football than EA FC, closer to the real experience that a footballer can live but without forgetting the ludo thanks to the blatantly arcade approach of some gameplay ideas. Many things are missing, I think (I hope) that they will arrive, for now Fútbol is still bailado (and very danceable).

Jul 11, 2025If there's one thing Rematch is really missing, it's content, so in a way we'd say it's still in an Early Access status. However, in functional terms it's complete, so even in its current state, the game is still pretty decent, and for those looking for a well-made and challenging PvP game, with potential to get even better in the future, Rematch is a good choice.
-
Jun 19, 2025ReMatch dreams of being a concentrated action game and an arcade alternative that's both easy to access and challenging. At the start, this is partly the case, and some of its promises are kept: you can feel its potential, the games with friends are wild, and it's hard to put it down. However, Sloclap's title isn't yet up to the task of lasting 90 minutes. Lacking content and fine-tuning, the coming months will need to be dedicated to training if ReMatch has the ambition to lift a major trophy in the world of sports gaming.

Jun 30, 2025Ultimately, our encounter with Rematch gave us generally positive feelings. Sloclap has reinterpreted the rules of the game of soccer, declining them in a game context dedicated to pure fun, free from all the complications that have occurred in the greatest exponents of the genre in recent years. If you are passionate about the 'most beautiful game in the world' or are looking for a sports title to try your hand at, perhaps in the company of a close-knit group of friends, you should give it a chance: despite a certain lack of content and a few too many uncertainties in the management of physics, it is one of the most genuinely fun multiplayer titles that we have tried in recent times. Will it be able to make its way among the big names in the industry and stand as the 'next big thing' in a competitive landscape such as that of multiplayer titles? Posterity will decide.

Jun 24, 2025If Sloclap can rightfully be considered a small forge of ideas, then Rematch is undoubtedly its most ambitious project to date. However, this ambition, when confronted with the reality of execution, sees the game struggling to shine as brightly as hoped—at least initially. That said, it provides a solid foundation to build upon, update after update, with the goal of engaging and growing a community—something that is essential for a project of this kind.
-
Jun 19, 2025Rematch can be fun in bursts and over time it should grow to have a decent community. The emphasis on player skill over unlocking perks and skill points is refreshing, but can be hindered by the control scheme and camera. Some issues also need to be sorted too. Rematch is a nice distraction as an arcadey football game, and it has its place, but it is a small club that needs to build over time to challenge the bigger ones.
